Decided not to go. IF…and only if my parents did not already book the flight to Bangkok, I would go without any qualms. But as it stands, they already bought it and i dont mind goin if i’ll get scolded but not if i would cause them to lose more money.

I was planning on writing a pretty interesting blog bout my day in Midvalley yesterday but I got into a really big fight with my parents. Then I ended up saying that Miri wuz a lot better. Then they said “Go back there then!!”
Well, I for one cannot hear a challenge without accepting it. And that, to me is a challenge. My first thought wuz going to sort of “run away” to Miri one of these days (I wuz planning today but decided to think about it first).
There is a flight tomorrow (fri) at 8.30 pm. Ticket cost is RM 433 but I have a Student Membership card for 25% off, meaning it’s 324.75 .Loads of money but I have an open ticket for any domestic flight worth Rm 600 which would be able to cover my flight expenses.
Downside, i dont know what my parents reaction would be if i secretly left. And we’re planning of going to Bangkok this Sat (which I’m not interested in already).
Upside, I can get away from living here…which i hate coz I dont have friends or anything to do. Life here sucks! In Miri, I have a place to stay (my former hse which i’m still renting coz already signed a contract) and food isnt a prob bcoz i still have money in my bank account.
The only question is how to get to the airport. I can either follow a fren (which d chances are very slim) or take a taxi from my condo to Taman Bahagia LRT station then take an LRT (Light Rail Transit system) to KL central and take an express to KLIA. The lrt to KL Central is quite cheap. From KL Central to KLIA it’s around rm45.
Wondering if i should go or is it irrational??

Didnt really do anything these past 2 days. Slept a lot (as usual).
Oh yeah…i watched The Girl Next Door. Not bad movie….downloaded the DVD version so it wuz uncensored *wink*…hehe…it wuz quite nice tho….i didnt really expect the ending..but it wuz a lil bit funny.
Going out to Midvalley later by LRT so today should be interesting with window-shopping wif my sis. We always go around trying things & not buying them…ehehhe :P At least the shop keepers here are not so suspicious of you…like they let u try out stuff even tho eventually we dont buy…hehehe…
Oh well, Gladys (my sis) wants to use the comp so i Gtg~! Bubai..and see u all later.

All I can say is almost everything I did today wuz in connection wif food. Wuz up & online early aorund 8 am (!!!)….well…actually havent really slept since d day before coz overslept (refer last post). Wanted to eat pancakes…but no gas :( Then my mom said d gas man wuz coming at 9 am. {Yay!} Managed to finally make my pancakes smeared with peanut butter and kaya {No! Not together! In 2 seperate pancakes lah}. Online till like 1 pm while everyone else slept. My sis didnt go to school….school holidays for about a week.
When everyone finally woke up…they wanted to eat, but of course they wuz no food. No bread, No cooked rice, no sausages, only 1 can of mushroom soup or maggi mee…..which we didnt really feel like eating. After a bit more digging around we manage to find something {Thank goodness!!}………………….uncooked burger meat & potatoes. So we decided to cook burgers…….oh wait, we dont have bread…..so my sis & mom went shopping….and now we have food in d hse. When they got home, i cooked lunch {not really lunch, it wuz almost 4 pm then} and we finally ate……except that at this point, im not that hungry so juz ate a burger even tho we had soup, more burgers, mash potatoes and french fries…..all made by, who else?, Me!
My sis wants to take over the comp now so i guess i’ll go play 1 round of Gunbound before handing it over….sleepy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *yawN*

Today, now still onlining…well, at least my anime download is done. Hehehe! Planned to watch “The Village” yesterday but didnt feel well. Prolly need to start building websites soon coz I need a few sample projects for this job im planning to send in my CV for. Dont wana waste time lounging around at home doing nothing.
22nd Aug (Sunday)
Didnt really sleep d nite before coz wuz chatting wif frens about some things. Damn tired but had to got to church. P&W wuz lousy…miss being in KK!!! Went for lunch, came back, felt sick & slept from ard 2pm to 11 pm…woke up, ate dinner and go online
21st Aug (Saturday)
Im so tired. This afternoon (ard 2.30 pm) we took a long drive to some fishing village in Negeri Sembilan to meet up with my Grandmother & Auntie’s family (mother’s side). I slept the whole way…but felt really sick on the way there so vomited….eww….
The good thing : it wuz really great seafood and really cheap too. I’ve never eaten as many varieties of seafood in one meal. hehehe….eat until puas :) Crab, prawns, fish, squids, lobster all in one sitting
But still…..almost 5 hrs drive (to & fro) for good seafood?? I’d rather not…and my dad doesnt want to anymore. thank goodness!! I think this car ride still doesnt top the one we took to Limbang, Sarawak from KK, Sabah just to buy durians. It was about 5 hrs drive to and fro except with the smell of durians on the way back!!!
“Why din put it in the boot?” i hear u say….well, my dad drives a Honda CRV – no closed boot.

Now that i’m back in KL, it’s back to my daily boring life…….wake up, shower, eat, go online, eat, sleep. The highlights of my day is going online and seeing frens online.
Oh yeah….my fren’s Pajero juz got stolen while they were out clubbing. Lola in Miri called me up juz to tell me. Anyway, hope they do find it.
I havent been watching a lot of movies lately but i plan to watch “The Village” this weekend wif my sis. The lastest movie i watched in d cinema wuz Troy & Harry Potter i think….sad isnt it?? Well, come to think of it, i did watch this Thai “supposedly” scary movie which wuz totally lousy…so it doesnt count. But d latest vcd I watched wuz “30 hari Mencari Cinta”, amusing indonesian story. Hehe!!
Currently busy downloading Full Moon wo Sagashite – a Jap anime which i only watched till episode 38 (there’s 52 altogether). but still taking ages…..its been like 3 days on and off & its only halfway done. Also downloading 50 First Dates & Girl Next Door…but dats prolly going to take another week or so. *sigh*

I actually already wrote this blog halfway but accidently click publish then stop so everything wuz lost. dayymm!!
Well….sorry I havent been updating regularly. It’s kinda hard to update it when i have a week’s worth of things to write about. I wuz also in Miri, meaning to say I dont have internet access, unless i go to labs, which i didnt have the time to. And I’ve been sick for the past 3-4 days.
back to my last post, i did manage to buy fera a prezzie. It wuz a bracelet, a small cat doll in a box tied with ribbon. So we went out to San Francisco (the only coffee-bistro kinda place in Miri) wif a few frens and i got to know Man’ cousins and 1-2 other guys. then after that we went to play pool….well, i didnt really play…i juz watched them play…but i wuz itching to play. It wuz pretty fun with one of the guys actually requesting a song from the band (which wuz, btw, really bad and pok sampai melampaui batas sayur) and then singing the lead himself. I wuz impressed. Dunno why all my gal frens say he’s cute…i dont really think so…mayb different taste.
The next few days were kind of hectic with me running here and there in campus to settle my withdrawal & transcripts and going out at night for dinner or juz lepak in ppl’s hse or go watch movie. Depends on the day. Lola came down from Bintulu to Miri sometime during the week even tho she wuz totally short on money….ehhehe I had a shock sometime during the week coz Al came back from Aus without telling anyone, except JB. Had to give a double take when I saw him in student services….and vice versa coz he didnt know i came back.
On Fri we had a guy fren (name undisclosed to protect privacy) over for dinner and after that we did a facial on him. Which wuz totally amusing…hehehe!! but i think he liked the end results. ehehhe!! After dat, Lola and I went clubbing wif Isla, Littak, feli, gretch & Izzah which wuz fun coz i havent done it for a long time. Feli send Lola & I back coz we were playing pool…and i kinda left my key in Isla’s car so she had to come back all d way to send it to me…hehe! (Littak mentions it in his blog…sorry i made u go back late!!) I think we only slept around 7 am coz we were talking (gossiping) until we got so tired and fell asleep. Had a sorethroat & slight flu.
On Sat I woke up n I couldnt speak. I wuz croaking as i talked.
Dat nite we went out for dinner at Annie’s lil kitchen…which wuz of course very scrumtious, especially d dessert – chocolate pudding (which in my opinion is more like rich choc cake with choc fudge topping) – absolutely heavenly (and not to mention absolutely fattening and absolutely expensive). Den Isla, Fera, Andre, Lola, Heidi & I went to Fera’s place to watch Akademi Fantasia.
I can imagine a few shock looks on ppl’s face…coz i dont really watch these kinda shows….esp if it’s locally produced (can’t help it if the malaysian entertainment is lousy). In fact, i only know about Malaysian Idol coz my whole family is crazy about it…and i have an exclassmate (Nikki) in it. Anyway, it turned out to be okay…typical singing and the judges – there is always one bad judge, a very good judge and an emotional female judge (soooo cliche). No comment.
After that we lepaked at Mayang Sari (this malay coffee shop which my fren mistakenly pronounced as Sayang Mari which means “darling come”) wif Man and the guys. After that, Lola, Isla & I went to stay over at some fren’s place in Luak. His hse is really nice man and really big. Too bad he wants to sell it and it’s too far from town. We played cards, watch Vcds, drink, sleep…tho i didnt really sleep coz not used to not sleeping on my normal bed. hehehe!!
Woke up really late Sunday, and my voice wuz totally gone, had a potluck that night, so rushed to buy groceries…still in our clothes from the night before (none of us brought change – or toothbrushes for that matter). Totally simple, big faded tee shirt & shorts with selipar jepun and walking around boulevard..im sure we would’ve looked funny. Ahahha!! Lucky didnt meet a lot of curtin students.
Potluck dat nite wuz great…i actually invited around 40 ppl but around 28 turned up. Good enough. Understandable coz most ppl have class early Monday. I made spaghetti & Lola made curry…d rest brought other things….so much food…but didnt really eat coz not really hungry. Every1 wanted me to give a speech…but it wuz impossible wif my whispering voice. It wuz fun…we played cards, drank, shisha. mostly chit chat…..with me mostly listening…haha…cant be bothered to try talking. Al wuz the only person who gave me something – a laughing kookabarra (sp?) – from aus. I had expected some small token from others but nevermind, it’s no big deal. Hehehe! wat’s important is that they turned up :)
So I left monday nite and Isla, Meilan, Lola & Kim sent me off. They passed me a card from Heidi, a card signed by a few ppl & a candle from Dian. So nice :) I didnt cry when i wuz at the airport…but when i started reading the card in the plane, my eyes became watery….
Flight wuz okay, Miri -> Kuching -> KLIA using MAS. Had to sit wif these 2 chinese guys who were speaking in a dialect i didnt understand so i switched seats and had 3 seats all to myself…talk about leg & arm space. I sat at across the aisle to this old lady who looked like she never been on an airplane coz she looked so sakai at everything. When food wuz served (Lamb & pasta or Fish curry & rice – I took d lamb. MAS Catering serves good food. Yummy!!), she looked at mine with great interest and kind of stared at me eating. Freaky, but i juz ignored her. hahha!!
It wuz so cold that I felt really sick so went to the clinic after arriving in KLIA. Apparently my throat is infected….my voice seems a bit better now so the antibiotics are doing me good. ehhe…
Oh wel…dat’s it for the summary of the last week…i need to go to bed coz my dad is going to be awake in an hr or so and he’s goin to make some noise if he knew i havent slept!!

I’ve been really lazy to update my weblog…well it’s also partly coz of 2 main things:
(1) I wuz in Miri and dont have time to go to labs & update
(2) I’ve been sick for the past 2 days :(
It wuz a really fun week in Miri…got to know some of the new students (frens of frens, my fren’s cousin and my exclassmate 7 yrs ago). Went out clubbing on Sat on d 7th with Kim, she stayed over at our place dat nite. Coz i bunked in Dee’s & Andre’s place. Dat gurl, so smgt…we were going here and there and moving between 3 different clubs dat nite.

Im back in miri already. Hehe…been lazing around since last Fri but today I wuz busy running here and there to get all my transcripts & withdrawal form completed. Kim 69 stayed over at our place Sat nite and we both went out clubbing. It wuz really fun coz she’s always so enthusiastic about it. we both have the same mind..tee hee hee!!
I’ve also been watching Anime – Full Moon wo sagashite (sp?) but not finished yet. Nothing better to do I guess besides packing boxes & cleaning the house. Might be able to set up my computer soon. But kinda lazy to re-pack it again before this Friday when I’ll be leaving Miri :’(
Anyway, will add more some other time. It’s Fera’s bday today and I want to go to town to get her a prezzie. Bubai~!
