so much has happened in the past few days that cramming them all into one post is too much. So this is a juz a brief review of what happened in the past 5 days.

Andre came from Miri the other day and for the past few days we’ve been going out with Siddiq, mostly to 1 Utama. But we did go to Midvalley with Pam once. But only for a few hours.

Besides that I’ve been having classes. And met a few new ppl…namely a gal & a guy from Brunei….Alexis & Akil….Kil is kinda okay looking…hehe…he has cool hair…he tied it up in a straight ponytail…no idea how to describe it.

Im thinking of bringing a cam to sch everyday now…its cool to see d diff hairstyles & clothes…hehe….dats wat u get for studying in a creative uni i guess…ehhehe

Anyway…apparently lotsa ppl are in KL now. Besides Andre, Heidi, Isla & Debbie are here. Icha, Resa & Fera coming on Sat. Hafiz is somewhere here on holiday…but no details bout dat. He did call me d other day to find out whose number it wuz..ehhe :P I wish he didnt dye his hair…it looks too freaky…but i actually havent seen it real life..only saw it in pictures. Hehehe!

Oh ya…Thurs & Fri i had to classes. Fri class cancelled. But this Sat i have class {Damn!}…however i might have plans that nite : ) hehehe :P

One day before…….

One day before…..my birthday and it seems like any other day. I usually feel happy & estatic when my birthday is around the corner to be able to go out and celebrate it with my friends. The past few years have been great…celebrating with ppl in KK in a BIG birthday bash at my hse…with scrumptious food which my mom & i would laboursly (sp) prepare for the whole day. I kind of enjoy those kinda parties…hanging around with my friends and having lots of them over. Then chillin in places like Coffee Bean or at the beach at nites :)

Looks like I’m only having dinner wif my parents and andre who is coming over tomolo. Andre’s coming over tomolo nite until the 30th & she’s going to stay in my hse. So I guess it’ll be fun except I dont kno wat she’ll do when I go to class…eheh…just ask her to play computer or watch TV la i guess. Sorry andre (-_-;)

Speaking of class…my one and only class wuz cancelled today. So frustrating….took like 30 mins to get there….then waited and didnt see my classmates for the next 10 mins den went to look for my lecturer and she wuz in her room…she informed the class yesterday apparently….and I naturally didnt kno coz i have no classes that day. Sheesh….now i wonder if i have class tomorrow morning :S

Oh yeah…i ate something interesting today – Dragon fruit! I first ate it last semester when a group of China students in my hostel offered it to us…it has a mild sweet taste. And to eat it you gotta cut of the ends den cut it. The white part has lil black seeds like in kiwis. You dont eat the red skin. The flesh (white) comes out easily from the skin so u can juz pull it off. Heheh..wuz bored so took a pic :P

Been busy the past few days

Ahh…sorry for not updating regularly. I’ve been starting school and registering and stuff so here’s a writeup on wat i’ve been up to these few days

Mon :
Went to register in the morning and then rushed back coz dad had a meeting in his office at 1.30 pm. Talked to some lecturers and apparently on of em..Gerald is from Miri too, coz he asked me if i wuz from Sarawak..and i said Yes..then he asked which part and we found out we were both from miri. Then my mom asked him his father’s name (coz practically everyone in Miri knows each other…its a small place) and apparently my dad and his dad are colleagues….freaky….lucky im not taking his class or it’ll be too much of a coincidence. Got my time table today…its something like this

Mon ~> 1pm – 3pm
Tues ~> 11 am – 1 pm
Wed ~> 9-11am, 11am – 1pm & 1.30 -4.30 pm
Thurs ~> NO CLASS
Fri ~> 11am -1pm
Sat ~> 9am – 1pm

If u noticed, i have basically 1 class a day, except Wed but i have one LONG class on Sat….yes….1 class for 4 hours. Its Design Studies. Besides DS, i also take C Programming and Business Management. Three subjects only coz i have advanced standing for the others

Tues :
Went early to LKW campus coz i had orientation. Talks talks talks the whole day and in the afternoon there wuz some ice-breaking session but i skipped it coz i wuz too embaressed to go do it and my fren sitting with me totally refused. So i reached home around 4.30 – 5 pm and went straight to sleep until the next morning. I’ve been waking up extreamly early..around 6.30 am and sleeping around midnight so my body still needs time to adjust.

I forgot to mention i made a new close fren today. I wuz lost while looking for the lecture theater and asked her where it is. Her name’s Laila and she juz moved back to Cyberjaya from Switzerland so she’s pretty cool and uptodate and open minded and fun. So its great that the first person I met is her and we’ve been hanging around often every time we get :) Hehe!

Wed :
Woke up early…and wanted to leave d hse at 8 am but couldnt find my timetable so wuz in a bit of a frenzy looking for it. Finally couldnt find it and i barely made it to class on time. I wuz late actually but the lecturer wuz late as well so it wasnt much of a problem. We were given the course outline and lecturer’s details and bought my Management textbook (RM 65). Den i went to inquire about the busses from Kelana Jaya LRT Station (bout 10 mins from my hse) to LKW and bought a monthly pass for Oct (Rm 140) and 1 week pass for Sept (Rm 35). I missed the tour today around Cyberjaya coz i wanted to go back early instead of waiting till 4-5 pm.

Anyway, i got a big shock today…i wuz sitting in the cafeteria…which btw is really big and wuz debating on whether to eat or not…and i saw a group of guys walking to towards d stage – we have this open stage at the side of the cafeteria…im told sometimes students perform there – and the guy in front looked really familiar…that’s when my jaw dropped…EVENSTARR!! Ahhaa…im not a “groupie” but Im frens with melvin, d drummer, so i walked up to him and he wuz as shocked as i am when I realized. LOL! Anyway, they performed an acoustic gig with 4 songs 2 of which were new…and nice. Cant wait for their next album :)

They’re here for the RTM Rentak Juara – Rythmn of Champions…its a battle of the bands thing and won by SMS so ppl, watch at 9 pm, TV2 or TV1 (im not sure) on Fri nite and vote vote vote!!

Its my off day tomorrow so im goinna sleep

Starting school!!

This is really LAST MINUTE…but im going to Limkokwing tomorrow to register for Diploma in “Multimedia & Software Engineering”, combining 2 subjects which im very interested in. Im still having a little bit of doubt coz I decided last minute (today) but it had to register either tomorrow (20 Sept) or in Feb (which is the next intake). So kinda of nervous a bit about tomorrow so wish me luck!!

Missed church this morning coz I overslept (-_-;) so got left behind by everyone. Then went to look for the Limkokwing (LKW) campus this afternoon….well, actually late afternoon around 2 or 3 pm i think. Its SOO far away….we (my parents and I) managed to get there after like 3 wrong turns. Taking a wrong turn on roads in KL is terrible!! If you make a wrong junction, you have to drive far before a U-turn appears. Felt sleepy but I wanted to get used to the road so stayed awake.

The campus looks so nice. You’ve gotta go see it in their website http://www.limkokwing.edu.my , cant miss it from the side of the road. We just walked out a little and passed thru the canteen and looked into the admin building. But so sunyi during d weekends…..worse of all, erin – my ex-classmate who’s taking her degree in LKW – is on holiday for a week i think.

Anyway, on the way back went to eat Kajang satay at a highway reststop. And ate the new Drumstick Gold…..the one that the cone is made outta pure chocolate. Oh ya, one funny thing happened. I wuz in the car holding my icecream in my left hand and suddenly screamed in shock when my icecream broke in two….haha…but managed to catch it with my other hand. It actually melted and drop sideways. So funny…my dad thought it wuz something like an accident or something and suddenly breaked the car which made me smear the seat in front with the icecream in my hand. LOL!

Went back…watched a bit of TV and got a phone call from an old fren. Chang, a fren from Curtin who wuz my groupmate in Moral who now moved to INTI Kuching called me coz he wuz bored. He’s a really nice and funny guy and we always sat at the back of the lecture hall talking and making jokes about the lecturer – my moral lecturer is lousy and weird. So we juz chit chat and catched up with our lives currently. Then he said he reloaded around RM 300 on his phone this month…and I jokingly asked him to reload mine. He asked…”how much?” I wanted to say rm100 but juz said Rm50..then he said…”ok” and i said…”ur not joking are u?” Then he said “im serious, check your credit tomorrow”. Dunno if its true but I’ll guess we’ll see…hehehe!!

Ohya…watched the Malaysian Idol results show….well..actually i wuz on the computer when my family were watching. So i heard the whole thing. So happy Saiful is finally out!!! He’s too childish looking and immature. AND sings very badly too!! Too bad Nikki got kicked out instead of him earlier. Anyway, he’s out now. Yay!

Okay…need to sleep. Its 12.30 am and i need to get up around 6.15 am tomolo to go for my first day and orientation at LKW. Ciou ppl~~!!

8.30 am
Im up bright and early today :) so asked my mom to buy me breakfast – lo mai kai, at least that’s what I call it. It’s this chinese food made of glutinous rice (pulut) with chicken, mushroom, pork (cha siu) & some seasoning, put into a bowl and steamed to perfection. Yummy! I ask my mom to buy it everytime i wake up early – which is really seldom – so it’s a yummy treat :)
another breakfast food i like to eat is dim sum – assortment of meats, seasoned in various ways then steamed. I especially like har kau (sp?) – prawn wrapped with a thin white wrapper.’Nuff bout food. hmm…my mom employed a part time maid who comes like once a week – she’s here now for d 2nd time, i dunno why…maybe to ganti (replace) another day – to clean up the place. Im kinda used to doing my own house chores – coz stayed alone for 1.5 yrs – but my sisters are a bit messy coz they had maids to clean up after them all their lives (spoilt brats) so the hse is really messy, their room is worse!!!

Today im going to register for my driving classes….hehe…yeah i kno..its really late…most teens get theirs when they’re 17 but I didnt have the need at that time. Now my mom wants me to take it so that I can help her send my sisters to & fro. Oh well, at least I’ll have the flexibility of going places….not juz staying at home :) Should be able to get my license in a month or so…yay!!

Evenstarr gig @ Titiwangsa

The gig wuz great. My sis and I left the Tmn Bahagia LRT station at around 2.15 and met up with Erin & a fren of hers (whom i later knew as Roy) in Masjid Jamek station to switch to the STAR line. Then we went all the way to Titiwangsa and walked a short way to the bus stop to get a taxi to Taman Tasik Titiwangsa.

There wuz this other 2 guys who were also waiting for a taxi but the taxi driver didnt stop for them but stopped for us instead coz we were 3 gurls & 1 guy. Hehe! One advantage of being a gal :P Anyway, he wuz really talkative and in that 10-15 min ride we found out that:

• he had 3 unmarried children : 2 boys (27 & 20 yrs old) and 1 gal (24 yrs)
• the site of Tmn Tasik Titiwangsa (TTT) – which btw, is not a housing area but a recreational park – wuz a vast space of jungle 10 years ago
• TTT has many activities like horse-riding, rollarblading areas, great for family outings

The taxi meter showed RM 3.30 but because we had 4 people he asked for RM 5……somehow i wonder why it’s extra RM 2 but i’m not really sure if this is the usual fare as this is the first time i take a taxi in KL without my parents so we paid without much debate. Oh well, take it as an extra charge for the impromptu tour-guide talk..haha!

Anyway we got there around 3.30 pm…and it wuz supposed to start around 4.30 pm so we chit-chatted with them and introduced everyone all around. Mel wuz so shocked to see me there coz he still thinks I’m in Curtin. LOL! Silas wuz using crutches coz apparently he fell & dislocated his knee and tore his ligaments and had to have a cast on the back part of his left leg to prevent him from moving his knee. Poor thing….so he wuz hobbling here and there. And sang without moving.

Oh yeah…they are so nice in person :) and they sang 3 songs: 1 song which i forgot the title, Masih and Adakah Ini Cinta? (or something like that, its a new song) then we stood around chit-chatting and taking pictures and I got them to sign the CDs i bought…coz I bought 2, one for Sids and another for me. Gladys (my sis) bought a baby-tee…kinda nice…but I like my Tshirt better..hehe!

After that we (the 4 of us) went to KLCC and split up and Gladz and I met wif our parents and they went shopping for clothes (with my and my dad juz lepaking around) and finally left KLCC at 9.15 pm. Went to eat dinner, which i didnt coz i had a late lunch at 6pm, then came home.

Watched the results show of Malaysian Idol this week. Totally unexpected results!! Jac wz in the the last 3 and Saiful got in instead of Nikki!!! (btw, Nikki wuz my classmate back in sec sch but i think i already mention that) I think all the ppl in Sarawak are voting for Saiful coz he’s from there. But he’s lousy…and he’s so soft that he’s gay, he looks like a small kid!! Im a Sarawakian but i wont vote for him coz he cant sing as well and his personality is childish. (no offence to those who like him. this is my opinion) All the judges couldnt believe it coz they had high hopes for Nikki esp Paul who looked really annoyed and upset. Even Roslan, the tough judge, cried when she sang her last song – “Emotions” by Destiny’s Child

Oh well, enough about that. I kno what everyone has been waiting for….PICTURES!!!!! so here are most of them….be patient while it loads :)

went to meet Rach, Shaun & Grace today. At first I said meet in KLCC, then R said she hasnt been to Berjaya Times Square so she went there and I wuz supposed to meet her there even tho I said that Times Square doesn’t have anything. So around 1.30 i left the Taman Bahagia LRT station and made my way to KL Central – the hub of Kuala Lumpur, all the public transportation is connected there. Then from KL Central i walked around 5 mins to the nearby Monorail (a train that only goes around in the heart of KL) and took a monorail to Imbi Station – where Times Square is. Met them around 2.15 pm.

The reason why I’m so sure of the time is coz i timed myself coz i want to go out to Titiwangsa on Sun (read **Note** on the right) and need to take the same route, only longer.

After eating in McD alone (they ate earlier while waiting for me) we were debating on whether to go to ride in the theme park. We decided against it coz Rach said they didnt have much time as she and Shaun were going down to genting.

After walking around in a few shops (and after she bought 2 pairs of earrings for my Bday present. Yay!) she said there wasn’t anything much in Times Square and wanted to go to KLCC instead {do I hear a “I told you so”? hehe!}. So we went bck on the Monorail to KL Central and took the LRT *again* to KLCC where we walked and walked all around window shopping.

Oh wait….i forgot. Esprit wuz having a Sale (50-70%) off coz they were going to renovate soon so we looked inside and grace bought an offshoulder black top and i tried on a black halter…which wuz nice..ehhe! But didnt buy coz no money.

So we all went to Dunkin Donuts for tea then the 3 left and i met up wif my Dad (and he had his tea) then I asked for money to buy that halter top. Only RM 32 – 50% off from RM64. U think that’s expensive? It’s an Esprit piece for goodness sake! Hehe!! Then we took the LRT back to Kelana Jaya to try to take the Free Shuttle bus from the Kelana Jaya LRT station to IKANO which is very near my hse.

It wuz fun going out to town (which i seldom do) even though my feet hurt like hell…coz i wore a strapless sandle which is NOT FUN to walk around in coz there is no support for the back part. But…at least i bought a new sexy top. hehe!! Only thing is…i cant go out clubbing here to wear it :’( *boo hoo*

Anyway, here’s the pic of that sandle. Took it when i first bought it and wuz totally bored. Next time if im going out, im juz goinna stick to sport shoes lah. Or at least something with support at the back.

Its past 5 am now and Im still awake helping my sis complete her Add Math project. 3 freaking sets!?!?! Two more for friends. She’s too nice to be true sometimes. Oh well, her mistake…which costs me a good nite sleep. Not to mention printer ink. I think around 30-35% left of the black ink.

Oh yeah…i watched Latte at 8 again today (every Wed & Thurs midnite). The guest stars were some ppl from Mentalite (some memory thingy), the Pond’s girl – the main actress of “Table for Two” and Shelly Leong – upcoming local singer.
I think Shelly Leong is quite good…tho she doesnt sing as well live as in her albums. The Ponds girl is not pretty as she looks on TV apparently. Amazing wat lack of makeup can do. She looks totally different.

Well, gtg…want to sleep.

Btw, I can go for the evenstarr gig. My grandmother’s birthday dinner is brought forward to Sat nite. Yay!!
