I get so irritated when:

- salespeople follow you around like a dog and look at you as if you cant afford it {juz coz im young doesnt mean that I dont have money} and you’re going to steal their product.

- you’re in a full LRT train and some fat lady leans her whole back on the pole in the middle so much so that no one can hold one to that pole

- he says he will call back but doesnt

- you want to order and they ask you to take a seat then they take ages to actually take your order. And when you ask the waitress for something, she juz gives this face and pretends not to see you. Waiteresses were rude & the service was slow. (Secret Recipe, MV)

- you plan to meet up with a friend for a movie but they didnt turn up. The excuse: was sleeping in the afternoon.(MV)

- you order a pot of tea and the waiter juz roughly puts it on the table, causing it to spill. The tea spout is also chipped. After calling the manager and complaining, the aforementioned waiter denies everything. Then you retort, “are you calling me a liar?” and the manager pacifies you with a free meal (Dome, KLCC)

This is something i got from Mervy’s blog. Enjoy….

Title: Couples… Couples… Couples…

Don’t ask me how I came up with this one. I just did.

Part 1: Boyfriends From Hell

The Football Fanatic Boyfriend
Knows the birthdays of all 11 players plus reserves of his favourite football team but can’t seem to remember your’s… Even if his life depended on it.

Calls you Victoria and insist that you call him David and talks about having children with the names Brooklyn and Cruz.

The Prodigy Programmer Boyfriend

Public class Response inherits Life
Public Function Dinner_Date
  Do While Date Still Exist
     IF Date is responsive THEN
        Make Joke
     ELSE
        Attempt to make conversation
ELSE IF Date is twidling with her thumbs THEN
        Terminate
     End IF
  End Loop
End Function
End Class

The Poetic Boyfriend
Constantly qoutes Edgar Allan Poe to you. Dyes his already black hair blacker, puts on funny French hat and wears turtle necks, and ends every sentence by rapping a bongo boom-be-de-boom sequence either verbally or on the table or laps.

The Geeky Boyfriend
Makes intelligent conversation. Ideal topic would be of his suspenders and how pen protectors function. Wears two-inch thick bifocal glasses and parts his hair from the extreme left.

Refers to you as the anomility that has thrown off his balanced equation in his otherwise constant life.

The “I-Want-To-Get-In-Your-Pants” Boyfriend
Can be rather exciting for sexually active women… That is until you notice his one inch penis… Erect. Every conversation, date, or gift is a overture to try to get you into bed with your clothes off and him in you.

Uses the following pickup line: “Everytime I see you, I get an erection.”

The Serious Blogger Boyfriend
You just know everything you two do is going to end up on his website. Better his than Sammyboy’s anyhow.

Part 2: Girlfriends From Hell

The Wannabe Cute Girlfriend
Insist that you pay tribute to her in anything Hello Kitty, pink, or cute like Mashi Maro. Choice of clothings include knee high thick fluffy stockings, pink Doherthy shoes straight out from The Wizard of Oz, and oversized pink cardigan.

Insist you call her by her Japanese name.

The “I Know More Than You” Girlfriend
Impresses you with the weight of her knowledge to the point of agony. Brings up topics which show her superior intellect might and corrects you at every sentence you make in attempt to contribute to the conversation. Calls you vain and uneducated when you complain about her superiority complex. Constantly insist that whatever knowledge is not important since she doesn’t know it to begin with.

Your Mother Girlfriend
Not meant literally.

You get the idea… Nag, nag, nag, nag, nag.

The Closet Lesbian Girlfriend
Asks you to sit in front of her when having lunch or dinner at foodcourts but stares past you towards some other girls sitting behind you. Makes remarks about other girls and tells you fantasies of her and other girls. Does not savvy to the idea of a threesome unless all three are female.

Asks you to wear her panties… And bra… And dress… Need I go on?

The Romantic Girlfriend
Wants you to take her to Venice, Rome, and Paris. Dreams of candlelight dinners, a bed of flowers, and a guy who can make her feel good with words alone. Wants a guy who looks stunningly handsome or at least to Jay Chou level with gentlemenly attitude.

The best you can muster is Mark Lee.

The Low Self Esteem Girlfriend
Constantly complains about the size of her breast. Wants you to tell her they’re big. You tell her they are and they don’t matter. She goes on about how you’re wrong and that they’re small and they do matter. When you ask her why they matter, she tells you that they just matter and she’s ashamed of their size. You joke with her that their size doesn’t matter because you’re not likely to get your hands on them. She calls you a bastard and demands a breakup.

She wears a 32D bra.

Part 3: The Perfect Boyfriend
That gay best friend of yours.

Part 4: The Perfect Girlfriend
Cameron Diaz. Mmmmmmm………

The comments for my blog is currently working as normal :D

i’ve realized

Posted by on March 9, 2005  |  1 Comment

i realized that no matter how i feel inside, i always portray a cheerful & happy front to the world. this leads ppl to believe i have a carefree life. Well, it isnt always like that. At times i do feel down

I realized that it’s a bit hard for me to approach strangers here in KL. Approaching strangers here meaning to make friends, esp in uni. Even the online friends I meet say that I’m quiet and take time to warm up before I actually start talking. People I know from Kota Kinabalu and Miri would never believe you if you told em I was quiet.

I realized that I’m very impulsive. I always always do and say things before thinking, which has gotten me into many minor mishaps. My recent (one month ago) major impulsive move is pulling me into two. I regret not thinking properly before making that move but I do not regret my situation now after that move. However, I cant really say im 100% happy with my situation now

I realized that I like to be pampered and be loved (doesn’t every one?) I like small gestures such as putting my hair behind my ear, or someone to give my hand a reassuring squeeze, or someone to genuinely ask “How’s your day?” and probe in a concern way when I answer “its ok.” This applies to friends and lovers.

I realized that being in a long distance relationship is hard for me because of not having the physical presence of that someone. I’m someone who would always doubt and wonder what is that someone else doing? Is he playing around with someone else? I realize that being single and lonely is sometimes better than being attached. I realized that I’m a little flirty – but with restraints of course.

I realize that I always realize the consequences of everything only AFTER I do it.

…Be Delish…

My current Obsession: DKNY – Be Delicious.

I have always liked fruity scents since i was younger. Before it was Body Shop’s Spirit of Moonflower, it was my signature scent then. Everyone knew it was my favourite. Then I like the bodyshop collection of perfumes (the one you can mix & match) – not all, but most of it. Then i switched to Davidoff- Cool Water and am currently halfway thru the bottle coz i only use it for special occasions.

I love this DKNY perfume..so fruity and nice…even after a few hrs (of walking all around midvalley) it smelled nice after combining with my natural odour. I wana get this! i want! i want!

…me…

I really like the colour of this pic and how its nicely blurred :D what do u guys think?

bells & whistles

Posted by on March 7, 2005  |  No Comments

I went to watch “Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events” with Sids & Andre at Midvalley that day. Yes i went with a couple….and we sat at the empty last row….and i fully concentrated on the movie, not on those two. Haha! I couldnt care less really.

The movie was okay. It was funny at some points. I especially liked the cute Sunny (the youngest of the Baudelaire children) who bites (yes gigit). However I wouldnt go to the movie and watch it. I’d go buy a pireted original VCD & watch it at the comfort of my own home. Read a review here. I’d rate it a 6 out of 10.

I’ve heard a lot about John Grisham and what a great writer he is. So I decided to buy his well acclaimed book “The Runaway Jury”
to give him a try. Runaway Jury is about the complicated process of choosing a jury and the less-than-honest world of justice, courts, judges, witnesses and of course juries. Has an interesting twist to the end. I’d rate it a 8 out of 10.

I’ve read one of Barbara Taylor Bradford‘s books before titled “Act Of Will” and liked the way she writes about the lives of women and how they react to the world around them. In Three Weeks in Paris she talks about a lady (Anya) with a creative arts school and her 4 favourite students and their lives. The 4 students were best friends but parted as enemies when they graduated. Each were reluctant to return to Paris to attend Anya’s birthday party due to various memories they had while studying there. Id rate it a 6 out of 10.

…links…

A friend of mine is a Graphic Designer working somewhere in KL. Here’s his website. I really like the design la. Simple and Clean. Wish I could do something like that. Would probably take me another 2-3 years to complete my degree tho.

I was born in Miri Sarawak, a small little town located somewhere near Brunei. Here’s a little info about my place of birth. Click the link.

This is so cute. Watch the animations.

my simple life

Posted by on March 2, 2005  |  1 Comment

I kno i havent been updating. Sorry bout that. I’ve been missing from the blogging world for about 4-5 days, have not been visiting any blogs as well. I’ve been kind of lazy to update because there isnt much to say. Not only that, everytime i start to type something, i get distracted. I dont like to type short posts so i usually wait till several things happen before i post.

Oh yeah, i noticed that my blog visitors have declined drastically since my vacation to Sabah in late Jan. Oh well…no biggie :P

…Wed…

I finished class pretty early today so I rang erin up and she said she was goin to bangsar with “Sweets” & Aree to thread their eyebrows (a hair-removal method using twisted thread which is pretty cheap, RM5) then we walked around looking for clubbing clothes. Then we went to midvalley to eat Chillis…..yummy…..walloped the chips in less than 5 mins..haha. I think we refilled it 3 times in 15 mins. I ordered Fish & Chips (a bit too salty), Erin ordered the vegetarian fagitas (tastes funny), Sweets ordered the roast lamb and aree ordered the steak (both very yummylicious). Felt absolutly utterly full after that.

Managed to buy lotsa CDs & a mic hehehe.

Had class as usual on Thursday, slept on Friday. Need to go down to lowyat soon. My hard disk needs to be replaced.

Should I get:
(a) 80gigabyte hd AND a DVD burner
(b) 120 gb hd ONLY

Which brand? (a) Maxtor (b)Seagate or (c)other?

…excerpts from other blogs…

Excerpt from Celestial Orion,
“Due to my long non stop string of classes from 1 pm to 7 pm I couldn’t meet up with my best friend, Fiona for my long awaited chat to update her on my life and she update me on her interesting life. Gosh you should listen to the stories she tells you…she is a woman who lives on the edge.”

I have no idea why she thinks my life is so interesting lah. To me its nothing but a boring never ending cycle of sleep-internet-bus rides-lectures-repeat. Oh yeah, I do occasionally have really funny or weird incidents online but nothing much.

My life isnt all that fun gal ;) I juz make it sound fun :P and i look at it in a fun way

Excerpt from Joe,
Satu hari tu, ada satu amoi ni datang blog aku, dia kasi komen kat tag. Dia kata something like, “seronok baca blog ni, macam Kisah Benar” Geramnya aku, rasa nak bagi pelempang jer kat amoi tu tuh :-) Aku pun pergi blog dia, aku tulislah kat tag dia, “memang benar pun, begitulah adanya”. Aku baca jugaklah blog dia, bebudak lagi rupanya. Patut pun :-) Aku wished her belated birthday pasal harijadi dia yang ke 19 baru jer lepas.

Lepas dari tu, amoi ni tiap hari datang blog aku. Lepas dari itu jugak, amoi ni sentiasa ada dalam ingatan aku pasal she stood up for me pada beberapa saat genting. And I do love her, as a “sister”, walaupun aku kadang-kadang tu treat dia macam “adik tiri”. Aku kutuk dia macamana pun, dia buat selamba jer, aku sindir dia macamana pun, dia buat tak peduli jer. Mungkin dia tak faham. Mungkin jugak tu.

Macamana pun, aku kan ingat Coconutice ni sebab dialah perempuan pertama yang berani menunjukkan middle finger kat aku :-) (kat dalam tagboard)

I seriously didnt kno u took my innocent comment in the wrong way. Sorry again. But cerita u mmg interesting (especially the earlier ones *wink*). Bukan tak faham kutukan…tapi tak kisah :P Im not sensitive like some other ppl. Anyway, i terharu *sambil mengelap air mata yg mula bergenang* gak sbab u anggap I mcm adik :P walaupun we did get off into a bad start.

Middle finger? ala…bukannya u tak tahu I nie ganas gak sometimes?

Of classes, stories & pizza hut

Posted by on March 1, 2005  |  1 Comment

Been so tired lately. Havent been online for 2 days (yes that is pretty long for someone like me)
and havent been updating regularly (no Joe, im not pemalas, juz tired). My classes arent that hectic, like i have an average of 4-6 hrs of class per day (excluding Fridays & weekends). Its just that the bus schedule doesnt suit my time. Most of my classes start at 12, meaning i have to take the 8 am bus to uni and either take the 3pm or 6pm back. Depending on the time i finish class.

I was so tired yesterday that i came back and slept straight-away…from 7 pm. and got up this morning at 9am. I probably need some time to get used to it.

…stories…

I mentioned that i bought books earlier but i didnt mention what bookstore. Its PayLessBooks – they sell really cheap 2nd hand books but the books are all in good condition with no scribbles. I’ve started reading “The Runaway Jury” and found it engrossing, im already 1/3 through :D

John Grisham’s style of writing is quite interesting, not too descriptive but manages to portray emotions and the story in a such a way that I was able to picture the scene in my mind. Planing of buying more of his books once im done with the 5 books i bought the other day :P

…pizza hut…

I semangatly wanted to eat Pizza Hut for dinner today so my mom asked me to call for delivery and it turned out that they don’t deliver to my area. So sad :(

Speaking of deliveries, my friend (Rinning) made this prank on Pizza Haven – a pizza place in Miri Sarawak…hahaha

“One day while sitting in Mc Donald’s with Darren, Ken and Joannes, Darren pulled out a TMTOUCH SIM card.. Apparently, he found it on the road, that’s what he said lar.. We tried it in my phone and found out it was a registered line.. Wah apa lagi, we took turns calling our friends and loved ones all across Europe. From Australia to UK to Canada..

Evantually, we got bored of calling. Joannes decided to prank Pizza Haven cause he hated the pizzas there. We dialed them up and ordered about RM300 plus worth of pizza’s to be delivered to an unknown address somewhere in Pujut. Somehow they were suspicious of our orders but Joe managed to persuade em in his adult voice that we were rich customers haha..

In the end, the poor delivery man tried his best to look for the house in Pujut with the lot number 176 and red Lamborghini parked outside. Surprisingly, he did and he called us telling us that he was outside..

Pizza delivery man: Hey, I’m outside here where are you now? Your bill is…..

Joe: Where where? I don’t see you. Can’t you see my car? Its the red Lambo parked outside..

Pizza man: What Lambo? There’s no Lambo here..

Joe: You got the wrong house la, theres a red Ferarri here..

Pizza: Red Ferarri? I thought you said red Lambo?

Joe: Oops..

Toot toot toot.. Joe hung up..

We were laughing our asses off so hard cause we never knew the pizza’s would actually be delivered.. Not if you order enough pizza’s to feed a party..

The whole afternoon, the entire staff of Pizza Haven was trying to call us non-stop.. After like 40 calls, I think they gave up and knew they got pranked. I wonder what they did with the pizzas..

Anyways, the next day we found out the SIMcard had been blocked, most probably by its owner. Our 3 days of fun, was over. We realised that when we were having lunch in Sugarbun @ Boulevard. While making a call, the line suddenly went dead. Knowing that I couldn’t do anymore with that card, I dropped it into the tomato sauce bottle on the table so beware guys, one of the bottles in Sugarbun has a SIMcard inside haha..

Nah, don’t worry. That was 2 years ago, I think some guy ate it up already..

Call us mean, call me mean, hell its nice being naughty, once in a while..

Try call Pizza Haven and make a home delivery, this time they’ll ask for your IC and house number hehe.”
