i’ve been wanting to blog this post since Sun morning but I never got round to doin it.

Thursday nite – Liz (not real name) & Aree said they were going to zouk today so I asked a guy friend of mine to bring me as well. So he picked me up around 12.30pm (he was late coz a fren of his borrowed his car) so we reached Zouk after 1 am. He paid for my entry fee (RM30 + 1 drink). I had 2 drinks and he had coke. He was nice…a good dancer…protective and took care of me well in the club. We went mamaking after that and i got back around 6 am :P

Friday – stayed at home sleeping and onlining. My abg angkat (A) arrived in KL and is staying for a week plus.

Sat – A smsed me at 10.30 pm and wanted to bring me out pubbing wif his friends at Finnigans, Sri Hartamas. Reached thr around 11.30-midnite. If you saw a gal with around 6 guys, sitting and drinking at Sri Hartamas, that was me :P

Never drank so much as that nite. A brought an unopened bottle of Vodka Kurant (berry infused vodka – wonderful fruity smell, nice taste too) and we finished it with lime. The guys (even A) was pretty impressed that i could hold my drink. Then a bottle of JW Black label was opened. i’ve drank jw+coke before once but didnt quite like it. The guys insisted that coke was the wrong mix and proceeded to pour me a glass of jw+ginger ale which was surprisingly quite nice. When the jw was about 2/3 finished, we decided to switch pubs.

went down to this other pub nearby, within walking distance. I forgot the name but they played all oldies. A whole bottle of chivas was produced and we were drinking that with ginger ale. By that time i was really high so i controlled my drinks because i didnt want to get drunk.

A & I left early and we mamaked and talked till morning, had breakfast, then went home.

I’ll miss A when he goes back to miri :(

I was on the 6pm bus on the way back from Limkokwing to Kelana jaya when my Dad smsed me saying “Received ur Tshirts from US. Meet u at KJ, 6.45pm”. At first i was blur then i remembered that he said he was sending me some stuff. Then confused plak camner daddy tau yg isinya Tshirts. Takkan la dier buka package i tu….oh tidak!** Apparently it was written on the outside of the package that the contents were Tshirts {heaves a sigh of relief} Daddy siap tanya siapa si “Joe Bangla” yg I kenal tuh. So I said la kawan i yg duk kat US hantar souvinier.

Masa tgk gambar kat blog dia (Rujuk gambar di atas), mcm kecil je kotak dier.Tgk tgk, hampir sebesar laptop. Shook it and heard a rattling sound {eh….ingatkan ada tshirt je?} rupanya ada gak keychain. I saw emy posted up pics so aku pon nak smgt post gegambar :P

NY Keychain
Keychain

Package from the States
Nie depan dier…siap ngan nama glemer yg dikatakan oleh Emy. Click to see full saiz coz im too lazy to resize it.

Nie aku curi dari blog emy. exactly like mine so malas nak ambik gambar :P

Anyway thanks Joe :D really appreciate it. Really sweet utk susahkan diri antar benda dari jauh.

…MIA waktu pagi…

Quote from EMY : “Aku ingat lagi hari di mana Joe mintak alamat budak 2 org nie. Yg sorang tu aku mmg dah tau. Yg sorang lagi mmg aku tau selalu MIA pepagi buta nie. Lambat jer SMS aku dijawab. Ahahahha sure org tu tau nyer la sapa dia yg aku maksudkan.”

Jahatnye emy nie……emy ko SMS pepagi buta, mestila org masih tido….org cam i nie kluar mlm thursday…mestila tgh tido Fri morning tuh. Anyway I was at Miri on holiday….so mestila enjoy skit. Lagipon duk umah kawan…mestila borak sampai pagi :P

…Footnote…

**[FYI, family members nie {except me} mmg kepoh...kalau ada envelope terbuka kat meja...mmg depa {cewah, dah berbahasa utara :P} akan buka & baca surat tuh. Sampaikan I got pissed off, mengamuk marah......emy pon ada experience mcm tu eh?]

kepoh = busybody

This song juz popped into my head. The chorus is really meaningful. So this goes out to all my frens :D

My Friend – Plus One
We are standing at the crossroads
And now it’s time
For you to go your way
And me to go mine
I will pray the Lord
Will keep you safe
Until the day I see your face again

My friend
We have been through so much
And you have been my Godsend
With your sure and steady love
My friend
You know I will be there
If you ever need
‘Cause you’ve always
Been a friend to me

I may travel the world over
But one thing I know for sure
One day this road will lead me
Back ’round to your door
I will pray the Lord
Will keep you safe
Some bonds are just too strong
To break in the end

My friend
We have been through so much
And you have been my Godsend
With your sure and steady love
My friend
You know I will be there
If you ever need
‘Cause you’ve always
Been a friend to me

Nothing will change the way
I feel about you
Not the miles or the years
Or the place this life takes me to

My friend
We have been through so much
And you have been my Godsend
With your sure and steady love
My friend
You know I will be there
If you ever need
‘Cause you’ve always
Been a friend to me

…flower power…

yellow crocus
Yellow immediately brings joy and energy to
mind. The crocus is the flower of
happiness and youth. You are probably an
outgoing person with many friends and a
developed social life, but also very energetic
and unable to keep still.

What flower – color association are you?

back from miri

Somehow i feel like my trip to miri was a whirlwind of emotions. I felt like something was missing during that trip. Some was good, some bad, but a few below my expectations. Well, you gain some and you lose some. Going back brings back lots of memories, which makes me remember the fun times i had and how the 1.5 yrs i was there (2003-early 2004) were the best years of my life so far.Oh well, time to move on i guess.

On a positive note, i managed to meet Buxxe & dok minum minum sambil tgk dier dance ;)) {sorry ahh, i tak layan house music la beb}. Best gak

Am utterly tired as hell sbab sampai tis morning around 12 something..sampai umah, unpack, mandi…then dah dekat kul 2 am…so tak leh tido…online sampai pagi….tapi kena paksa pegi uni.

Sampai uni….terlalu penat so tertido in library….and one incident happened…..entah camner i salah duduk sampai “prakkk”…bunyi koyak….Zip jeans terkoyak plak…nasib kat tepi gak..so tak obvious…..roflmao. So mau tak mau…kena dok kat library jek sampai balik umah nanti kul 3 pm. Nasib gak ari nie pakai baju panjang skit..leh kaver

Movies and more movies

Posted by on April 7, 2005  |  No Comments

Synopsis from Cinemaonline.com.my:
Chili Palmer (John Travolta) decides to abandon the movie industry to bring his skills and negotiation tactics to the music business. When an unexpected incident regarding his friend happened during lunchtime, Chili takes the opportunity to visit the guy’s wife, Edie (Uma Thurman), and land himself as her new business partner at an independent record label. With a promising young pop-star-in-training as his protégé (Christina Milian), Chili has to juggle her manager (Vince Vaughn), his gay, wannabe-actor bodyguard (The Rock), Russian mobsters, and a music producer (Cedric the Entertainer) to save the label.

I watched this movie last Saturday and I found it an average movie. The Rock was really funny acting as a gay :)) Unfortunatly, when I watched it at KLCC Cinema the picture on the screen was blurry so i got a slight headache after. And i found the cinema a bit cold, even tho my friend didnt.

Synopsis from CinemaOnline.com.my:
A Mexican mother, Flor Moreno (Paz Vega) migrated to the United States with her daughter and gets a job as at the home of the Clasky’s. John Clasky (Adam Sandler) is a successful chef and his wife Deborah (Tea Leoni) is always insecure. Flor tries her best to assist the Clasky family in more than just house cleaning matters. However, when Flor is forced to live with the family over the summer, she has no choice but to bring her daughter, Christina (Shelbie Bruce) along. After the arrival of Christina, everything starts to change in the Clasky household. In the end, they learn that a family is the most important thing a person can have.

Watched this in Midvalley with Erin and Zul. This show was quite nice. The interesting parts we the one that the daughter of the Spanish housekeeper had to translate.
I really liked how this movie portrays all good family values like responsibility and how Florrrrrrr had to give up her love because of he was married and she had a daughter.

Synopsis from CinemaOnline.com.my:
Alex Hitch (Will Smith) is a professional matchmaker or date doctor, who helps his male clients by customizing their first three dates, and is currently working on his latest client Albert (Kevin James). A gossip reporter for a daily tabloid, Sara (Eva Mendes), bumps into Hitch and makes Hitch re-evaluate his game, trying to teach him that love is not a feeling but an action.

I finally watched this on DVD just now. Its a feel-good movie. Funny at most parts…esp when he screws up. LOL!

The men say……

Posted by on April 4, 2005  |  No Comments

The Men say…..
I never quite figured out why the sexual urge of men and women differ so much. And I
never have figured out the whole Venus and Mars thing. I have never figured out why men think with their heads and women with their hearts.

FOR EXAMPLE: One evening last week, my girlfriend and I were getting into bed. Well, the passion starts to heat up, and she eventually says “I don’t feel like it, I just want you to hold me.”

I said “WHAT????!!! What was that?!”

So she says the words that every boyfriend on the planet dreads to hear…

“You’re just not in touch with my emotional needs as a woman enough for me to satisfy your
physical needs as a man.”

She responded to my puzzled look by saying, “Can’t you just love me for who I am and not what I do for you in the bedroom?”

Realizing that nothing was going to happen that night, I went to sleep. The very next day I opted to take the day off of work to spend time with her.

We went out to a nice lunch and then went shopping at a big, big unnamed department store. I walked around with her while she tried on several different very expensive outfits.

She couldn’t decide which one to take so I told her we’ll just buy them all. She wanted new
shoes to compliment her new clothes, so I said lets get a pair for each outfit. We went onto the
jewellery department where she picked out a pair of diamond earrings.

Let me tell you … she was so excited. She must have thought I was one wave short of a shipwreck. I started to think she was testing me because she asked for a tennis bracelet when she doesn’t even know how to play tennis.

I think I threw her for a loop when I said, “That’s fine, honey.”

She was almost nearing sexual satisfaction from all of the excitement. Smiling with excited
anticipation she finally said, “I think this is all dear, let’s go to the cashier.”

I could hardly contain myself when I blurted out, “No, honey, I don’t feel like it.”

Her face just went completely blank as her jaw dropped with a baffled “WHAT???!!!”

I then said, “Really honey! I just want you to HOLD this stuff for a while. You’re just not in
touch with my financial needs as a man enough for me to satisfy your shopping needs as a woman.”

And just when she had this look like she was going to kill me, I added, “Why can’t you
just love me for who I am and not for the things I buy you?”

Apparently I’m not having sex tonight either
