Technology is soo convenient nowadays. You can just switch on your laptop and then you can do work wherever you are – in the LRT, in the car (not while driving of course!), while waiting for someone, while lying down in bed. And dont get me started on handphones, hours and hours of talking and SMSing and MMSing and data transfer-ing, especially now with the introduction of 3g and EDGE, you can get connected to the rest of the world even tho you are in a rural place.
However, the downside of this is that you’re limited to the life of your battery. Which in most cases for laptops is about 4 hours on average. And for phones it’ll be around 1-2 days depending on how much you use it (play music, play games, take photos). And dont you hate it when you’re in the middle of doing something when you hear the annoying beep of the battery being low?
One great solution would be to buy extra batteries so that you can stay connected 24/7. For example if you have a dell laptop, you can buy a dell xps M1710 laptop battery so that you dont have to keep looking for a electric plug or extension wire.
SO what are you waiting for, buy batteries for all your electronics – camcorder, digital cameras, two way radios, watches, cellphones, security systems, PDA and laptops from here.

I uploaded a new pic of myself on myspace last nite. Its what my friends and I call a ‘boobie shot’ – a pic from a higher angle (note : this makes u look thinner) which has a view of your cleavage (i.e. lurah dendam). Its a pic i took after my bbq last nite was over.
The power of the boobie shot. LOL~!

Its been a while I had Kek Batik (I used to have a slice every week) and when I told my friends about it, they didnt have any idea what it was. Apparently its only known in Sarawak and Brunei (not too sure about Sabah). I’ve came across the recipe but its a bit leceh, with eggs and other stuff and need to steam it. However, when I was blog hopping, I came across this recipe for Kek Batik that was super easy.
Wanted to take pics of it, but then i remembered that my parents took it on their holiday to UK (they left last Saturday morning). crap~! Anyway after a bit of trial and error, this is the final version of my simple and easy batik cake.
Batik Cake
(A) 1/2 cup cocoa powder
1 cup milo
1 teaspoon coffee powder
1 cup hot water
(B) 1 tin condensed milk
1 tin evaporated milk
250g unsalted butter
1 packet of plain Marie biscuits (i forgot to check the weight, its a plastic red packet slightly smaller than an A4 size paper)
1 1/2 cup nestum
Enjoy!

I still got so much kek batik in the fridge, who wants to come over to eat it? :P
