i miss all these food

well raya is over, bulan puasa is over. and most of all, i’ll miss all my kuih and makanan at the pasar ramadhan :P

• Lompat Tikam – a Kelantanese Dessert which consists of glutinous rice (usually dyed red) squares of pandan pudding, thick santan (uber fattening) and gula melaka. Sweetness! but i think mine had too much gula melaka.
• Yummylicious putu piring
• Sata – something with fish (much like otak-otak) but has coconut or santan. Tastes a little sweet. From Terengganu. My ultimate favourite to look out for at every pasar.
• Apam balik – a pancake filled with chopped nuts, sugar and some cream style corn
• Akok (akoq?) a baked egg-based kuih from Kelantan.

Ah..the blissful joy of food…

Goin to be uber busy. All major assignments due this week and exams starts on the 6th. Not sure if i’ll be able to go to the gath on the 5th but i’ll try (no promises). Oh yea…

New camera but lost wallet :(

Its been a lousy week. First my fren was driving when we got stopped by the police and he had to borrow 100 ringgit because apparently he has been driving around for ages with an expired license.

Then I lost my wallet yesterday. I was at tesco and then on the way back I realised I was not holding my wallet and it wasnt in any of my pockets. My mistake for not bringing a bag :( I must have left it somewhere or someone took it while I put it on my back pocket. There’s like rm130 inside but I don’t really care about the money. What’s important is my IC, driving license, student card (to get into the labs and library) and atm card is in that wallet.

Oh well, what to do.

On the plus side, my parents bought a new camera, the olympus mju810. Its a really nice camera, needs some help in its menu design but the features are good and very clear. Now i can once again pepper my blog with pics :D

Here are some photos I took with the new camera. I had a gathering of myspace people on Sunday at Planet Hollywood. The buffet was RM30++ and I made lots of new frens. Tengkiu Tiang Azman sbb invite.

After that we went to MSI for another gathering by the bebudak KL10. Most already went back but I heard there was up to 50 people in total who came. Sorry couldnt make it guys. Jgn arr marah. Hihihi :P

no mood

no mood wei, no mood! the only good thing this week is i got an extra side income which only took about 2 days and has a big payoff.

Oh btw, to those who were interested, my puasa makan attempt on thursday was a success. I berbuka at Awan Besar with Satay…yummy :P

Friday I had classes, got stuck in a jam on the way home then went out for dinner with Erin – she ‘booked’ me as early as wed nite because she tot i’d be “so busy” – at Manhattan Fish Market, Ikano coz i was craving for fish and chips. Chit chat, then G smsed asking if we were goin to Laundry Bar. I swear that gal keeps looking for an excuse to go out (but i agreed to go oso :P). Hung out in laundry bar for hours. Had “Sex on the Beach” (its the name of the cocktail idiot), a shot of Jose Cuervo and a Jug of Frozen margarita (shared with G & Erin). [Damage : rm100]

Saturday I stayed at home till about 2-3 pm when Pammy dragged me out to go Bangsar to do some threading, and we stopped by this new bookstore and i bought some stationary, then we went to

Assignments and Haze

As usual, I’ve been busy. Had my midterms after my BBQ party and now my days are filled with assignments after assignments. Mostly due before raya. Oh and i found out my exams are right after the raya holidays so my holidays will be filled with studying :(

Class just finished and Im so sleepy now, its really tiring to travel up and down to cyberjaya. not to mention the haze here is utterly terrible. The moment you walk out you smell a slight smoky smell and your eyes just start to water. It was so much worst a few days before.

Today im trying to puasa (keyword here is *trying*) but food only lah. I doubt i can survive long without water. I had a yummylicious buka puasa dinner last nite. Nasi kerabu with bergedil (mashed up fish and coconut fried patties) and ikan pari bakar. My mouth is watering thinking about it….must resisttt.

Its goin to be a long day tomorrow. I might be goin for a part time job interview in the morning at Bdr Tasik Selatan then i have a resit test for my Discrete maths and Im goin out with Erin to catch up.
