Get StuckUp

Posted by on October 30, 2007  |  No Comments

Don’t you hate it when you’re driving you need to look for something then you have to dig in deep into your glove compartment to look for it, especially at the toll booth where you’re looking for money to pay for the tolls. I bet that’s how so many accidents happen – drivers looking for something in their glove box and digging here and there so much so that they don’t pay attention on the road.

There’s this cool new product to put on your car visor to organize your stuff. Its called Stuck Up. Its like a notice board for your car where you can stick stuff like pens, papers, money or pictures. It utilizes Velcro to attach the small objects you might need. They even sell accessories like small LED Flashlights that you can stick on the StuckUp for checking maps or looking for something that fell underneath your seat.

The best part is, you can design your own StuckUp by choosing differnt colours for the frame. They have Space Black, Cocoa Brown, Snow White, Hot Pink and Midnight Blue. You can also change the background of it using Palettes that range from maps to logos to sports and you can also write a text of your choice.

So what are you waiting for? Get Stuck Up now!

Loans and scholarships

Posted by on October 27, 2007  |  No Comments

My sister, G, is currently applying for loans and scholarships to support her education – she just completed her A-Levels in Law. She was in my room the other night trying to fill out forms to apply for the PTPTN loan and was a bit confused. Then I was wondering, how nice would it be to have a website which listed down the types of scholarships available.

There is a place to get access to an extensive list of financial scholarships. And its so easy to use, you just register using your email. Then they will ask you for your current year of study (and when you’re expected to graduate) and whether or not you are a US citizen. Then you can search for any types of scholarship you want to the university or college of your choice.

They also offer useful resources for students, like how to choose the best college and how to apply for the many scholarships available on their database. You can also search for the best college for you based on your area of study, state and type. The system will then give you relevant and accurate information based on their up-to-date list.

And the best part? Its Free!

The Casanova’s Demise?

Posted by on October 27, 2007  |  No Comments

End of the era of a casanova” said Pam. She met her already.

I shook my head and laughed in disbelief. After hearing lots of stories about this gal and that gal, he said he met someone. And it was serious. “Im not jahat like before already,” said A.

I finally met her – his new girlfriend today. “Oh..ini ke si dia yg I dah dgr byk citer,” I said as I salam her tangan. Sweet girl. A bit quiet tho. A ‘missy’ who drive a Jazz, quite classy looking juga.

We had some fun kutuking laughing at some of his bad habits – like the fact that he’s a damn lousy back seat driver who keeps making comments about our driving (“ehh..laju sgt”, “bahayanya u pusing mcm tu”, “takleh slow lagi ke?”) then keeps wanting to use his way (“naper u tak ikot jalan nie? naper ikot jalan tu? kalo u ikot……lagi cepat tau”).

They got good chemistry together, her feelings for him are especially obvious. The light touching on the arms when they talk, the lowering of the voice when they are on the phone with each other, the look in their eyes when they look at each other. Things I’ve seen him do with other girls…

Well, I hope, for her sake, the casanova has retired.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~
But if I were her, I’d feel threatened by the fact that he has not one, but TWO close girl friends who knows him well enough to complain about his quirks and use his phone dgn tak malunya amongst other things.
But im not goinna tell him that…he’ll figure it out soon enough. Hehehe!
My love affair with jeans
Posted by on October 23, 2007  |  6 Comments
Have i ever written about how much I love jeans? To me, jeans are an essential part of anyone’s wardrobe. I think I have almost 10 pairs of jeans i think, ranging from light blue to almost-black dark blue to weird colours like white and brown.
Anyway, i found this site that has a whole collection of gorgeous jeans from various companies (some of which I haven’t heard about but they have really fantastic designs & cuttings) like 1921, Diesel, Ag Jeans, Nudie Jeans, Acne Jeans, Seven for All Mankind and lots more.
seven for all mankind
This is an example of a pair of jeans by Seven for All Mankind for women. Its called “Bootcut Stretch Jeans in New York Dark.” Doesn’t it look hot? I really like the colour of it and it also looks very comfortable.
nudie jeans
This is an example of a pair of jeans by Nudie. Very sexy looking and emphasizes the butt. And we like sexy butts don’t we girls? Haha!
However, Tobi is not all about jeans, they have a variety of apparel and beauty products. I saw a whole bunch of earrings that I would so love to buy. But I still really, really like the jeans. What’s really cool about this online boutique is that you can speak to an online stylist and have live chat to help you in your shopping experience.
No more walking around in malls and getting harassed by salespersons. Ah…how convinient
Tech Tuesday : NexG – Cathay Cineplexes Debit Card
Posted by on October 23, 2007  |  3 Comments
If you’re a student (like me) or unemployed and have no constant income, then its hard for you to apply for a credit card which usually requires all sorts of documents, bla bla bla. My solution is, just get a debit card.
Hafreze was asking me to share my experience of using this debit card so I decided to write the post. There are a few debit cards available in Malaysia, two that I know of is the Public Bank debit card and the Ambank NexG Prepaid MasterCard. After some deliberation, I chose the latter.
Read a complete guide after the jump.
The new wave for bloggers
Posted by on October 22, 2007  |  No Comments
In this blog I showed you some ways of making money through your blog. Was it helpful? Today I am going to tell you about yet another site that I’m currently using to make money. More services = more moolah and we all like that don’t we? :D
Bloggerwave is a paid post service but the thing that sets it apart is that it is multilingual. Other sites usually just allow websites that are in English but bloggerwave allows you to write in other languages like Danish, German, Swedish, Norwegian, Italian, French and Spanish.
So far the opportunities I’ve been offered are USD10 and above, unlike other paid post services that start with USD5. Great right? So go and register today :)
