Lately I’ve been:

• Spamming around in LYN forum. So much so that someone said that “I see ur name everywhere there”. Haha!
• Finished watching and downloading True Blood. Season 1 just ended. Awesome series
• Constantly visting Monster.com.my, JobStree and JobsDB. Any other job search sites to recommend?
• Just watched Quarentine – movie review coming up soon (if I dont get too lazy)

Am also currently doing this:

Yea, am finally building up my portfolio. The site’s not ready yet of course. I have yet to put my flash stuff on there. I’ve also been busy working on some freelancing work – which I completed last week and should be getting payment this week. Yey!

Um, my fren from yesterday apologized. okay, Apology accepted. :)

Yey the weekend is here. Aree came back from KK yesterday and we went our for late dinner supper (it was 12am) at Al-Rawsha. Omg i love their lamb kebabs. Today we’re going out to pay her electric bills in Kepong and then going to Curve for my much needed hair trim/cut. Tonight bebudak reban has dinner at 7pm but I’m not sure I can make it.

Oh yea, tonight I will be in Coco Banana with my frens and their scandals (?). Haven’t been there yet. Hope it’ll be fun. Also I’m going to watch Madagascar 2 tomorrow.

How dare u say Im sitting on my ass doing nothing?? Or in your words “someone malas kerja then complain not enough money”. Grrr

There is a reason why im not taking the tutoring job in my old college. Its Kota Damansara to Cyberjaya every single day. Fourty minutes ONE WAY and thats not including the jam. Not to mention toll would be around 6-12 bucks depending on which highway. Do that for FOUR BLOODY YEARS and tell me you want to do it for another 6 months (min contract) or more.

Cakap je mmg senang.

Mini Blogger’s Gathering 2008

I just came back from a blogger’s gathering. What blogger’s gathering, you ask? This one..

Its a blogger’s gathering organized by Evie of evelynholic and Calvin of recordedmoments. This is their 2nd annual gathering. They organized one last year but I couldn’t make it and cant remember what excuse did I use. lol!

Marche had some negative points last nite – the aircon had problems and the seating area was a bit cramped – but it was really fun to meet up with bloggers that I havent met before. Some looked familiar and others I haven’t even heard of their blogs (heh, sorry!).

I remember sitting down and chit chatting when I asked one of the bloggers (JenkinYat to be exact) if he was also in LYN and he said yes. Then when I mentioned my nick there then a few of them went “Ooooo..always see ur name everyway”. Yes, I know, i got nothing better to do nowadays. LOL!

Adobe recently launched their newest products – the Creative Suite 4 or better known as CS4. These new products promises so much more improvements to the previous one.

The Adobe Master Collection CS4 consists of – Adobe After Effects CS4, Adobe Bridge CS4, Adobe Contribute CS4, Adobe Device Central CS4, Adobe Drive CS4, Adobe Encore CS4, Adobe ExtendScript Toolkit CS4, Adobe Extension Manager CS4, Adobe Fireworks CS4, Adobe Flash CS4 Professional, Adobe Illustrator CS4, Adobe InDesign CS4, Adobe Media Encoder CS4, Adobe OnLocation CS4, Adobe Photoshop CS4, Adobe Pixel Bender Toolkit, Adobe Premiere Pro CS4 and Adobe Soundbooth CS4.

The job search is on

So it’s been one week since my training/course/whatever you want to call it in KLCC has ended. Phew! Two months of going up and down Damansara to KLCC at 7am and coming home at 6pm. The driving, the jam, the lugging my heavy laptop to and fro. The expensive meals in KLCC and its whereabouts.

It was an interesting two months. Made some new friends and colleuges. Learned a lot of things that will prove useful later (I hope :P). We finished up the course on Friday – submitted our reports & files + database – then had a farewell makan-makan in the office and also snapped photos on certain floors in Tower 1. Gedik! lol

So now, its on to search for jobs. Does anyone have a job vacancy for a Software Engineer / Multimedia Designer (includes flash & 3d)?

Halloween Costumes

Halloween has just passed a few days ago. My friends who are overseas were saying that people were walking in the streets in costume. I think its a really fun thing to be able to do that.

Over here, we don’t really celebrate Halloween but most clubs and bars are in full swing with various types of Halloween parties. I personally went to check out Quattro in Avenue K, Kuala Lumpur’s newest hot spot, and the place was packed to the brim.

There were a few people wearing common but sexy costumes – like a skin tight glittery short red dress and devil’s horns, and pointy witches hats which kind of poked the back of my head a few times. Come to think of it, most people had those light in the dark devil horns. Cute!

I was browsing online and saw that they had all sort of adult halloween costumes. No! Not those that u bring into the bedroom (though you can, if that your kind of thing. haha!) but many types like pirates, alice in wonderland, gothic queen and Frankenstein bride to name a few. There are also cute little children costumes like a yellow duck marshmallow peep. Adorable!

Maybe I should organize a halloween costume party next year. It’ll be fun

Batang Arang Power?

The whole world is shaken today. I personally have received sms-es and emails regarding it. Congrats Obama for being the new US president. Its about time someone else stepped up. I hope you can make US a better place :)

Anyway, I was laughing at my friend when he told me the news. Note that he’s dark coz he has some Indian blood mixed in him:
