My Perspective of Love

Posted by on April 4, 2008  |  2 Comments

Miss Bella sms-ed me two nights ago asking “What is love in your own perspective?”

I replied, “Love is acceptance. Acceptance of each other, of different backgrounds, cultures & character. Understanding comes with acceptance. Acceptance is unconditional. Love does not have to be just between two people. It could be among friends, family, strangers you just met but clicked together.

Don’t you agree? Without acceptance there is no tolerance, no understanding. When you accept someone, you accept how they are and everything about them. So what is love in your perspective?

p/s: I sms-ed him the same question. And his reply was “All you need is love – john lennon”

Impromptu Genting Trip

Posted by on March 30, 2008  |  3 Comments

This is going to be a kind of photoblog coz I’m a bit lazy to type. LOL!

Anyway, he suddenly told me that he had leave on Thursday so then we kinda made a last minute decision to go up to Genting. Problem is, we had to leave rather late and I wasn’t sure of the way. Took a really long and dark road going there. I probably took the wrong exit coz I took the Rawang/Btg Berjuntai exit at NKVE. Oh well, important thing is that we sampai rite? Though we reached kinda late :D

Saw some chinese chicks with long stokin belang belang. Thank goodness not those types yg stokin sebelah ada, seblah takda :P He was so fascinated seeing a very FAT Twisties, Cheezels and Milo Nuggets (I really like milo nuggets! and Im so glad they still sell it. But doesn’t taste as nice as before).

That’s supposed to be a picture of me climbing some ladder at the side of a hill. But too blurry – perhaps the photographer was too cold. It was like taken at 2.44am and the air was freezing cold so perhaps that’s why the pic came out blurry :P

Windy, lonely road with a partially built hotel. Perfect place for a set of a horror movie if you ask me. Taken from the 17th flr, First World Hotel (eh, or was it 16th).

A pic of a man-made waterfall. Look so peaceful but it was actually so hot. The sun was out but luckily the air was cool tho. Ohh, i found out that he’s scared of heights. LOL! Then I dragged him on most of the rides. Hehe! Poor baby was feeling like vomiting after the ride. Hehehe :P

Anyway, came back quite early because we were tired and its a rather long drive back so we hung out in Curve for a bit then went home :D

Edit: I was disappointed to find out that Starbucks in Genting isn’t open 24 hours :(  All my friends and I thought it was

The New Happy Family

Posted by on March 10, 2008  |  No Comments

Most of you know that Im going back to Kota Kinabalu to attend one of my closest friend’s wedding. Mag was engaged to Tim two years ago and are finally tying the knot this year. The first of my circle of high school friends to get married. I wonder where they are going to stay tho. Currently I think they are staying at her parent’s house but it might be a bit uncomfortable after they get married because she has a younger brother and its a single story house so the close quarters might be uncomfortable.

Perhaps she should start getting interested in real estate. I think finding a house can be so tedious and stressful. There are some realtors who show people a few houses then expects you to buy and harress you until you do.

But the people at DROdio are not like that. First you search for the houses that suit the type and location that you want. Then they give you the addresses of the houses so you can drive yourself there and check it out for yourself without feeling any obligation. If you need help, then only you give them a ring, at any time you want, even midnight. Helpful yea?

I think that Mag & Tim would certainly want their own home so that they can raise their kids in a good environment. Here’s to a happy family.

After that lovey dovey phase

Posted by on March 4, 2008  |  4 Comments

Its been more than a month now. The first month was wonderful you know. That getting to know each other. The lovey-dovey sayang-sayang phase. Its a really exciting time because everything is so new and nice. But what happened after that initial stage?

We’ve been having these little squabbles. Over silly little insignificant things. Things that are not important. I have to admit, it’s mostly on my part. Most of the time he’d give in apologizing.

Compromise?

Posted by on February 26, 2008  |  3 Comments

I’ve been driving long distances a lot lately. Something like 20-30 minutes one way to go and see him. Going down there for dinner. Sometimes meeting him at 2am, then lepaking in kedai mamak till 5am. Sounds a bit crazy right?

Ah but then, there are those times that he comes down to see me. 30 minutes via komuter. Checking out all the food places that looks interesting. On the early mornings when I lepak there, he would temankan me all the way back at 5.30am back to Subang then take a ktm back then go straight to his office.

I wonder how some girls (and guys) can go over the top for their loved ones. For example, my sister would follow her bf’s car all the way to kota kemuning then drop off his car at his place then drive our car to shah alam to meet up with his friends. After that she sends him back to KK and then comes back to Kota Damansara (at least that’s what I think the plan was).

I think that everyone has a different view on ‘sacrifices’ and ‘compromising’ in their relationships and how much are they willing to put out. Here’s an interesting quote:

Most people will tell you that the secret to a happy relationship is compromise. They’re wrong.
You gotta do what makes you happy.
Then you gotta to find that mate who gets his greatest joy from seeing you that way.

Love is Cinta?

Posted by on February 25, 2008  |  2 Comments

Copy pasted this from mixterr. Quite an interesting read (plus i kinda needed a filler post).

Adakah kamu menjadi miliknya kerana pandangan matanya membuat hatimu melompat?
Itu bukan Cinta, itu TERGILA-GILA.

Adakah kamu memaafkan kesalahannya kerana kamu mengambil berat tentangnya?

Jika demikian, ITULAH CINTA.

Adakah kamu tertarik dengan orang lain tapi setia dengannya tanpa penyesalan?
Jika demikian, ITULAH CINTA.

Adakah kamu menangis kerana kesakitannya walaupun saat itu dia kuat?
ITULAH CINTA.

Adakah hatimu sakit dan hancur ketika dia bersedih?
ITULAH CINTA.

Adakah hatimu gembira ketika dia berbahagia?
ITULAH CINTA.

Adakah matanya melihat hatimu dan menyentuh jiwamu begitu mendalam sehingga menusuk?
Yang demikian itulah namanya CINTA

Recently I wrote a post about an online florist, then I realized that the bouquets of flowers during this Valentine’s Day season is so extravagantly expensive! Prices all start from at least RM60 and thats only for like 4-5 stalks of flowers. So I decided to write a post about FIVE most expensive Valentine’s Day bouquets that you can buy and order online. These are hand bouquets and consists of only flowers – meaning it doesn’t include other things like fruits or teddy bears or chocolates. (this is not sponsored)

Online Florists

Posted by on February 7, 2008  |  1 Comment

The other day a friend of mine was asking if there was any florist near my area. So I googled some florists and checked out prices for flowers because he wanted to send flowers to a friend of his for her birthday.

I didn’t realize it was so easy to order flowers online nowadays. All you have to do is go to the florist’s website, choose from a wide selection of different bouquets and arrangements, pay and its delivered to the receiver’s doorstep.

So, anyone who wants to send flowers to me for Valentine’s day can email me for my address. Hehe :)
