Eventually I didn’t go to that party I mentioned earlier. I gave the tickets to my sis who assured me she was going but eventually didn’t go either. Girl, if you didn’t want to, I wouldn’t have got you the tickets and two other more deserving people would have had the chance to go for free. Tsk!
And so I ended up in a bar in Subang. Jam-free and ‘unlimited’ alcohol. What more could you ask for in a New Year’s Eve celebration? We went early, around 9.30pm and started drinking soon after we arrived. It was my fren’s fren’s wife’s birthday on the 1st so we had chocolate cake ![]()
It was a fun and casual night. Drank quite a lot - coz everyone was trying to get me drunk. Haha! But it was good nonetheless. Went back to my fren’s place quite early, around 2am or so - can’t quite rmbr what time. I was sleepy already and all I wanted was to crawl between the sheets and sleep. Thats why I don’t really like to drink a lot - I get sleepy.
The next morning I had to leave early, around 8-ish in the morning. Too freaking early after a night out drinking. But I had no choice, the owner of the hse wanted to go to the driving range and halau-ed me *pouts*. Grabbed some KFC before going home (I skipped dinner the night before) - I heart you KFC for having your menu 24 hrs a day unlike Macdonalds which has a separate menu for breakfast.
By the time I got home and mandi and all I didn’t feel sleepy at all so I ended up watching episodes of How I Met Your Mother. Then around 4pm I was chatting with a friend,
Me : Im bored and slightly hung over
Fren : Im bored too
Me : Lets go out
Fren : Where? KL so boring, plus they’ll be lots of people
Me: Yea..and its soo hot. Hmm…oh! Lets go to gentingBut you drive
Fren : Okay
Going up was ok but once we reached the top, it was so freaking cold and misty. You can hardly see 10 meters ahead of you. Eventually we decided to check into the First World instead of risking the dangerous drive back. So thats how I ended up in Genting on the 1st.
So how was your new Year celebrations?
What’s your plan for new years?
I made plans with my friend that I might join him and his frens pubbing in Subang if I have no plans. I thought that was the perfect plan because it wont be as packed as in KL and I wont hv to dress up. Plus he’ll belanja
(i think…) It’ll be a simple and casual evening drinking with frens to celebrate the new year.
But. now im in a dilemma.
I just won 2 free tickets to the Midzone Countdown Party I wrote about some time ago here. Tickets are RM75 (presale) and RM100 (door price). The Lineup is also good : VJ Sort from Kagawa Japan, DJ Matthew White from Hungary and DJ Stoneface & Terminal (Euphonic Germany). The bad thing is, its in Midvalley and that area will be bloody jam.
So howwwwwwwwww?????
Its the end of the year 2007 and there are alot of events happening, from Christmas Parties and huge New Year Eve’s Party. Midvalley is hosting a 2008 Countdown part promising to be KL’s “most heart throbbing, visually stimulating & magnificent countdown part of the decade” - sounds so much more than a party to me. Hehe!
They’re feature a lineup of international DJs such as VJ Sort from Kagawa Japan, DJ Matthew White from Hungary and DJ Stoneface & Terminal (Euphonic Germany). DJ Stoneface and Terminal sounds familiar doesn’t it? Well this is a vid i got off YouTube ripped from Tiesto Club Life, the song by Gareth Emery - More Than Anything (Stoneface & Terminal Remix).
Oh, and the BEST part of this party is that they’re having a choreographed fireworks display with pulsating dance. I mean, I’ve seen light shows and dancers (some even trannys) but a choreographed fireworks display? I’m sure it’ll blow your mind.
Prices of the tickets are RM75 (presale) and RM100 (door sale). For 18 and above only. U can buy tickets from [here].
So where do YOU want to be this new year’s?
Its soo hard to describe how relieved I felt after finally passing up my Major Project Documentation on Friday Evening. Stayed up for 3 days with only a 30 min nap in between. Went to go and pick Linda at around 9.30am (coz i got lost getting to her place at Precint 9) then had breakfast at Putrajaya before goin to campus around 10 ish.

Pam, G and I decided to go party at Loft and Cynna at Heritage Row on Saturday night with Carl and her friends (J and gang). Kinda malas to write a full post so here are the pics and the summary.
- Had 2 bottles of black label.
- Music in Loft was house
but Cynna played great R&B songs.
- Bumped into Adi+friends in Cynna.
- G got pissed drunk.
- Went to makan2 at the kedai mamak near my house.
- Balik, mandi, sleep.
Pam, Carl & Gladys before the drinks
Me, Carl & Pam with J
Pam & I (crappy hair laah)
Pam & G after the drinks
Jammed on the way back - biasalah kan
Pam and I - my fave pic of the night
The night was just a so-so night. Nothing too fantastic about it. But Cynna’s R&B is good.
