Yesterday pam and I went to Starbucks (again!) to go online. I think its been like 3-4 days straight that I’ve been there with either her or Poker or both. Damn streamyx at home is still down.

After that we decided to go to Mt Kiara to watch football [England vs Paraguay]. Met up with Nick there. There had a big screen set up and loads of tables and chairs (but felt kinda weird coz we cant order Teh O Ais even tho we were in a mamak-like setting). We had nuggets and ice-cream at halftime. Thanks Nick for the eats

After that we continued on to Mosin, TTDI (where else?) to meet up with poks & arip to borak2 and watch the next game [Trinidad & Tobego vs Sweden]. Pam and I were laughing about if Sweden won, we’d go to IKEA because there’s a 10% discount or something like that. Wasnt really concentrating on the game, half talking and half watching. And watching other ppl.

After that, Pam was saying nak balik awal but she got stuck once the Ivory Coast vs Argentina game started. The beginning was a bit slow but the game quickly picked up pace. Ivory Coast did a good job, considering its their first entry. Argentina slacked on the 2nd half. But it was a fun game. (Dont want to comment too much coz later ppl bising coz i dont know the game well *nudge nudge*).

Something really funny happened that night tho. There was this gal who was wearing low-rise-i-can-see-an-inch-of-your-butt-jeans with a tight, pau chung (ko chung or chang? The chinese pulut yg is like a triangle) top with her boobies spilling out. I think she juz got back from clubbing.

She was like walking with a really exaggerated swing out of the kedai mamak, very tonggek and kinda looked weird coz mcm terkedek2 jalan with her high heels. Oh, she also had this proud-bitchy-i-think-im-uber-sexy-so-dont-hate-me look.

She glanced at our table as she walked past and I heard a loud Thud and my (very mean) first thought was “Padan muka!”. But of course I didnt say anything and didnt even look. But all of us had a really good laugh about it afterwards.

Football fever has hit all of us, im juz lucky it started after my exams. hehe~! Have a great week people

I finally went to look for a new brand on contact lenses because I wasnt too happy with the one I have now, it tends to get dry too fast and thus i tend to scratch my eyes - esp when i go out mamaking till wee hrs of the morning.

Most importantly, i had to buy new a new brand of solution since the one im using - Bausch & Lomb Renu - is strongly suspected to cause some fungal infection in the eyes. [Read the news report here]

Finally settled on this brand that is more expensive (RM10 extra) but better with more water content and doesnt get so dry as easily or as fast as the other brand. I changed my solution to Solocare, seems to be good nowadays.

Went to watch The Da Vinci Code at Times Square on Fri nite. Tot of watching 9pm so I was there at 8pm to book tickets. However it was full, even the premier class. The next show was at midnight and the only empty seats were the ones in the premier class and the first 2 rows.

Premier tickets are about rm17, but the seats are bigger and more ‘empuk’. Plus its smaller and more exclusive so lessening the risks of stupid audiences who bising, talk and dont get the intellegent jokes.

Since it was still early, we went for icecream at Baskin Robbins. Oh yeah! I ordered icecream and had a hard time deciding. Then after the lady scooped it out for me, i took it and we talked off. We decided to eat Hainam Chicken Rice at BB so we walked through the monorail. We were at BB when i asked “err…did I pay for the icecream?” and my fren said “yeah i was just thinking the same thing.” Haha! I got my icecream for free

I was a bit worried that I would like the movie, coz Pink pau absolutely hated it. I think it was quite good if you:

Never never compare it with the movie, since when does a movie based on a book is the same. Dont go try comparing it at all. Think of it as in independant movie. As if u’ve never seen it. My fren who has never even heard of the book said it was good (even thought some said they’re a bit confused).

Oh come on, its juz a movie (Though I dont think its worth watching again)

Note: when we went back to Times at 11.50pm, Baskin & Robbins was still open, so I paid for my icecream eventually. Apparently the gal also must have forgot because she also did not inform us

My parents are in Kuching for the funeral until Tuesday evening because my uncle passed away saturday night He was my dad’s eldest brother (my dad is the youngest of 8 siblings) He has been sickly for some time. I liked him a lot. He was one of my favourite uncles. May he rest in peace.dc

Hehe…i was reading G’s blog and was laughing my head off. We were at IKEA yesterday and while we were walking around looking at the stuff (i lurve to go window shopping there and mentally swipe my non-existant Black American Express card) when gladys suddenly said “Batang Magis” and started giggling then she said “the magic stick”.

I was like “…..” - blur for like 5 mins - before I realized that she translated the Song “Candy Shop” by 50cent & Olivia. Then we both started laughing like crazy. Read the whole translation of the song “Candy Shop” at her blog.

Today when i got to uni, i was kinda terkejut to see eL & Nadia busy fussing over a digital camera. Apparently they were trying to take a picture of someone who looks suspiciously like TukangTaip. What do you think? We’re quite sure its not him

I dont have classes tomorrow meaning its going to be a 4-day weekend for me this weekend. Yay~! (Not that I have anything interesting planned anyway) planned to go to Genting wif some frens but tak jadi coz of the tanah runtuh. A good friend’s birthday is coming up and not really sure what to get him or what to do? Belanja kat Mosin? cukup ke?

You kno, i always had the impression that it was pepakciks and memakciks the older generation who didnt know basic computer skills. Little did I know that my17-year-old sister who just finished SPM last year (in Science stream, may I add) was lacking in that department.

I met up with some chatters from KL4 or KL2, not really sure at KLCC then i got this text message: “Che (big sister) kenot go online what to do?”

I replied: “Dunno, wait till I come back”

Then I got home at 8pm but didnt get to look at my pc or the internet problem because my relatives were around for dinner so was busy layaning them and such. Keep asking questions to my sis asking “Does the laptop hv connection?” “No” “Is the 2 pc icon blinking?” “yes “does the laptop detect any wireless signals?” “dunno” “did u try restarting everything - pc, router & modem?” “yes” “did u change any settings on the pc?” “No” “Then technically it should work fine what”.

Was sooo tired that i felt asleep at midnite and got up at 2am, when i finally got the chance to look at my PC which was right next to my bed. Everything seems ok with it, so i look at the ethernet port to see if the cable is connected. Yes it was, then i looked at the router - it was ok. Then when i looked at the modem i spotted the problem.

It was NOT EVEN connected to the phone jack…….!! (-_-;)

My blog has been stuck at the depressing post for ages. Didnt have anything much to update, plus I’ve been busy doing other stuff online:

• Helped Nick with his blog template - No, I didnt design it, juz helped him tweak it a bit. I oso think its messy with all the scrolling plus his links are all over the place Plus he banyak songeh (very particular)
• Finally completed the template for OneNightStands - am very happy with the design. Not my own but tweaked it abit. We are currently looking for contributers, please email 1nightstands@gmail.com.
• Busy learning CSS from W3Schools.
• Editing ONS pics
• Downloading House - Season 1 & 2 & Desperate Housewives Season 1 & 2. House DVD extras already finished downloading Cant download anymore coz hard disk full odi.

On another note, I just found out that Sarawak Tribune’s license was suspended indefinatly. I heard around 300 employees were laid off.

Back when I was in Curtin, I registered myself to be an organ donor. Being wayy past 18 yrs old then, I didnt have to get parental consent. However I had to include the name and address of next-of-kin. In this case, I put in my dad’s because i had no next-of-kin.
