Lately everyone around me is talking bout money. Oh let me rephrase that, what I meant was, everyone around me is SHORT of money. Allowance getting cut, resigning from new job, not doin well in current job, over spending this month.

I was asked to do this multimedia presentation for this company - explaining company profile, product, plans, etc etc based on this powerpoint presentation. But i have to add in moving pictures, speech and make it “canggih” plus M wants it to be like 20-30 minutes long which in would take a lot of time. Was decided on whether to take it or not.

That question was bugging me for the past week. However, I happen to meet up fren of Azril’s the other day and he happened to be working in MDC as a New Media Designer and he was the person that I could ask all my questions about flash and multimedia stuff - the info and pointers I needed to use to complete my multimedia job. I took this encounter as a sign and told M that I would do it for him, but will bill him later because I wasnt sure of the work load involved yet.

Not only that, Im also applying for this student writer job but i havent sent in my resume - which is due end of this month. (Note to self : write resume)

Poks suggested that I tutor my classmates for a fee (yeah, the same guy who said “why should education be charged?”). Im not really sure how I would go around doin that because :
(1) Im too nice to ask for payment for my help
(2) Due to time constrains Im not sure how to arrange fees and “classes”
(3) People might think that Im kedekut ilmu and wont want to pay me for help

still hv to think about the tutoring option. As of now, im goin to be busy with M’s project and my own assignments and school work. But i might be getting a few extra ringgit end of this month for getting some computer hardware for someone. Anyone else wants to buy computer hardware?

Had my database Lab exam today. Was quite easy so I hope i score *crosses fingers* It started at 3.15 pm. The lecturer is cool..he even let me use earphones and listen to my music while i was doin it.

Been realizing that Im lousy at saving money. Am so broke that I’ve already started using next month’s allowance. I spend an average of RM6 at uni everyday (RM5 for nasi campur+rm2 for drinks) but i dont eat everyday.

Went I went out wif pammy on Sunday, I juz got my allowance for April in my account. Was utterly broke so had to withdraw. On that day i spent:

• Lunch at banana leaf = RM14
• Bread = RM 4
• Starbucks for drinks & dinner = RM 20
• Reload for my handphone = RM30

Grand total for one day of outing…from 11am - 10pm = RM69

Then yesterday met up with old friends, coz they juz started their semester in KDU:

• Lunch at uni (nasi campur+mineral water) = RM 6
• Pretzel = RM3
• Movie = RM10
• Dinner at teppanyaki = RM12

Grand total for half a day of uni & half a day of outing = RM31

Today, had lunch (RM5) - nasi campur (again!) and had to buy 2 floppy disks for my exams = RM3. Total = RM8

So in 3 days..I’ve already used RM108 of my allowance for April. And its not even the first….im sooo screwed

Im back blogging. Didnt really sleep the whole nite…actually more like morning….I think im having insomnia or something. Going to uni now. Got 2 classes, 9-12.30 pm…see ya!

I added a banner to my blog. nice? Nice? The background of the banner is made out of pictures I took with friends back in Curtin Uni, Sarawak campus since mid 2003. Miss you guys so much!!! {Lola bebeh, i juz realized we dont have a pic together. Why?!?!?!?! *cries*} . I also changed the background of the blog…juz to make it nicer. Hmm…didnt do much on Monday, just woke up REALLY late then laze around before going out for dinner with my auntie. My parents, me, my auntie, and 2 cousins - young adults, Lily & Patrick (I call him by his chinese name, Ah Hooi) ate at this Vegetarian restaurant. I was NEVER a big fan of vegetarian coz the meats & fish are made out of floor and dat really freaks me out coz i’m eating “fake” food. We ordered fried taufu with some sauce, “chicken” with some black sauce, vege, “fish” with a sort of curry sauce and some fried “fish” rolls.
My verdict : It was kinda nice…but i only ate the taufu & fish & vege…the chicken tasted & looked fake. Yuks!

Oh yes….i had a pretty interesting call this morning while i was sleeping and i lazily picked it up. The conversation went like this:
Curtin : Is this miss fiona?
Me : hmm…ya *i actually juz muttered my reply*
Curtin : ur hostel deposit is ready for collection
Me : Okay….*yawn*
Curtin : can you pick it up today?
Me : I’ve actually moved to KL, so i cant pick it up today….*”duh” i said in my heart*
Curtin : We could deposit it in ur account.
Me : Okay. How much is it btw?
Curtin : RM six hundred and………
Me : *shocked* Whaat!
Curtin : Can i have your account number please?
Me : I’ll call u back tomorrow with the details

WOW! didnt expect 600 plus ringgit to fall straight into my lap - not sure of the whole amount, as soon as i heard six hundred….everything after that didnt matter - thought they would have called my dad about this money issue. Hehe!
So i did some researching today my asking my parents innocent questions about banking in money and I’m going to call Curtin tomorrow coz I got my Account number already. Didnt tell my parents bout the money tho. I need extra money in my account and they would find out the next time they bank in money for my allowance so its no biggie….hehehe…I juz plan to keep it there for emergencies. Im not really the type to go shopping - very lazy to look around malls. hehe…
