Cher. A name that everyone is familiar with. Accomplished singer, actress, songwriter, author and entertainer. Just hearing her name conjures up an image of jet black hair cut into a straight fringe, high cheekbones and dressed in gold, sexy clothes.

Some info I got from wikipedia:
* Since her debut in 1964, Cher has sold over 100 million records worldwide and an estimated 70 million solo singles, becoming one of the biggest-selling artists of all time.
* Her real name is Cherilyn Sarkisian LaPierre and her father is from Armenia
* According to a 2002 Rolling Stone magazine article, her personal net worth was estimated to be over US$600 million

Would you believe she’s already 61 years old? Yea, you read that right - sixty one. Most of our parents or grandparents are around that age and could you just imagine them performing on stage like Cher does?

The newest update about her is that she is working on her 26th album but there is no confirmed release date. Not only that, it is rumoured that Cher might collaborate with Timbaland in his next album. Not only that, she is also going to perform in Las Vegas starting May 2008. Would love to get my hands on Cher tickets for Caesars Palace in Las Vegas to see how she looks like after her last single in 2003.

Anyway, I think that 43 years in the entertainment industry is such a huge achievement. Way to go Cher!

I went to watch M! the Opera at Istana Budaya yesterday. Limkokwing is a “Corporate Alliance Partner - Silver” (what ever that means) but i heard they gave bout RM80K (i think) to the production. Anyway so LKW had a whole bunch of free tickets and they gave it to the staff and the choir members so I managed to get a RM150 ticket free

Anyway, it was my first time in IB and we had to wear kinda formal. So i put on this blue dress which was already dusty coz it was underused. But Nick said it was too short and rejected it so I had to juz wear a blue skirt and black top with this nice blue selendang (curi-ed from Mom) and had a glittery handbag (curi-ed from my sis)

The show was really good. Khir from Iklim was M! and Doreen T was Sepi, his muse, childhood friend and main actress/singer of the show.
