Bebudak tag reban ayam telah membuat plan untuk pegi camping ujung minggu lepas. Mula-mula ingat tak jadi sbb mcm ramai tak pegi dgn alasan in laws nak dtg umah la, kena jaga anak la, kena stay kat lab sampai malam lah, berbadan dua lah, bf tak bagi kuar umah memalam lah, etc etc.Sib baik jadi juga.

Friday Night

Went to lepak at a fren’s place in ampang with Ms Moesha. Was stuck in a bloody jam for almost an hour. Guess where the jam was? On the NKVE highway from Kota Damansara tol to Jalan Duta Tol which is just ONE toll away….and stuck for almost 1 hr padahal that is less than 10 mins usually.

Went to pick up Ms Moesha at Sentul. We some how miscommunicated and she ended up waiting at a different place, lucky not that far away. Poor gal anyway we managed to find out way there. Lepak2 and played cards the whole night then at 7am ish went to send Ms Moesha to her frens place, and I went to another fren’s place to sleep. zzzz

Sunday Night
I also went to watch Shrek 3 with Jai at Cineleisure. I was quite dissapointed that CinemaOnline.com gave it such a low review. They were kutuking the fact that the characters had the same kind of humour. Err…they’re the same characters…hello? But i agree that the role of Artie (Justin Timberlake) should have been deeper and given more screentime.

Anyway, I had lots of fun laughing during this movie - and I was probably the only one laughing at the ‘Hooters’ reference in the movie The ending is of course rather predictable (as in most cartoon movies) - and I like how they intergrated other story book charaters like Merlin, Lancelot, Snow White, Cinderella, Rapunzel and Sleeping Beauty. All in all, this is a great movie to watch to make you feel good

Today (monday) I went to Bukit Bintang with Zakri to get a present for his gf…yea I had to go and follow him to help him choose what to buy. He shops like a girl! We went to so many shops to survey-survey things and compare prices. If me, I’ll just pick and go. But ituler…dah org tu sayang kat gf dier kan…so must get the best things.

First we went to parkson and bought a nice silver box. Then while walking, we saw Body Shop and noticed they had this huge sale, up to 50% off, so we popped in. And after smelling a hundred scents, he decided to buy the Rougeberry perfume for her. And I also TERbeli 2 bottles of shower gel which smelled heavenly and a small bottle of home fragrance oil which was CHEAP! Only RM37 in total.

Then finally we went to this shop to buy a very nice red and light red selendang for his girl and packed it nicely into the box. Oh yea, he also bought me one orange one because it was “the first time we met face-to-face (I got to know him last year through chatting) and that I helped him pick out the presents.” So sweet!

So what did u guys do last weekend and what do you think about Shrek 3?

I was lepaking at a friend’s place helping to finish up some assignments when he sent me back early in the morning because we felt hungry also. So there we were goin through the Jalan Duta toll into the NKVE highway and wanting to exit at the Kota Damansara tol. Some distance after the tol,there’s a bend then the road cuts through some hills. That road is a rather lonely and usually only lorries pass that area.

About 5 minutes after the toll, i noticed someone standing at the side of the road :shock: , and i said to my fren, “eh its a lady!” He noticed her too, and stopped some distance away. He said “if it was just me alone I wouldnt stop but since u’re with me then its ok.” He reversed a bit and i winded the window down and asked, “Kak nak pegi mana?”

She said she wanted to get back to Bangsar. After asking my fren if it was ok if we sent her back, he said “masuklah, kita hantar u balik“. Apparently she was fighting with her friends and she said something like “kalo u tak suka, u letak i kat sini je la” (SO not a smart thing to do) and they stopped the car and actually dragged her out of the car and left. And she was crying saying that she didnt even know where she was and how to get back. :sad:

So we exited at the Damansara and proceeded to Bangsar with me as the navigator coz my fren is hopeless with roads . On the way we noticed her accent was ‘different’ and then my fren asked “You dari mana? Sarawak ke?” and apparently she was a Kuching gal. And so we (her and I) were talking a bit in Sarawakian (its been ages since i last spoke Sarawak malay).

After sending her back (plus a stop at a gas station for directions and her insisting that I took her number) we were on our way to makan at Nasi Kandar at Bangsar.

Me : So naper tanak amik dier kalo u sorang dlm kereta?
Fren : Eh manatau bila i stop pastu ada kawan2 dier panjat dari longkang ke semak kat tepi tu pastu nak curi keta I ke, buat benda tak elok ke…
Me : Imaginasi u tinggi sgt la *hahaha* :lol:
Fren : So, lesson of the day, jgn jadi mabuk.
Me : Drunk? camner u tau?
Fren : Masa dier masuk dah i bau
Me : Really? I tak perasan.
Fren : U mesti la tak perasan..sbb dah sebati dgn diri you :twisted:
Me :…… (cis!)

Anyway i think it was totally evil and inhuman of her friends to leave her there. Even if u’re so pissed off at her, leave her somewhere where there are people lah, a kedai mamak, a gas station or bus stop or something.

Lucky I always got good friends when I go out clubbing…(plus its too expensive kinda hard to get me drunk :roll: ).

I saw Alangz promoting the movie on his status on Yahoo Messenger. So i pon tanya la siapa2 pegi:

So with that i decided to pegi tgk that movie anyway dah lama tak jumpa serindit ngan cekedess alangz tu dah byk sgt kali jumpa..bosan dah. So i drove down to Mines, got lost a bit reaching that area (its the first time I’ve been to Mines) met up with didit, alangz and his friends. After the movie we went to lepak at a nearby shop, eating and chit chatting.

How was the movie? Honestly, i almost never watch Malay movies in the cinema (I guess this is the third after Baik Punya Cilok and Cicakman) because they suck tend to have many things lacking.

JPB actually has a good and interesting storyline but for some reason, the ‘ghost’ looked more hilarious than scary. Of course there was a lot of use of scary music and haunting scream sound effects.

However thecinematography (cewah i sound like a filming expert) was pretty expected - showing a doorway in the background where something suddenly passes by, the presence of a long-haired thing in the elevator and the over-the-shoulder shot showing a ]ghost crawling on the ground.

Oh and certain scenes of the ghost floating, u can actually see a string lol!

:: Piknik at Sg Gabai ::

I’ve been goin on a few picnics recently (and not so recently). On the first of Feb, I had a picnic at Sg Gabai Waterfall (somewhere on the Semenyih-Kajang Road - dont ask me where exactly, i only tumpang org ) We met up at Ampang Park and then berkonvoi there. We were there sometime in the afternoon and went up the steepest, highest flight of stairs I have seen a long long while.

We brought a bunch of snacks. Well actually the other girls brought a bunch of snacks - keropok and kacang and more keropok. I just brought a big bottle of air kosong. LOL! We walked climbed all the way up, and huffed and puffed all the way. Not me only k? The kurus2 ones also had difficulty goin up. So nice of krlanz to temankan me at the end of the queue as I took lots of pit stops.

The water was fantasically cold. Brrr…We took pictures at the waterfall of course and shampoo-ed our hair and played with the water for a few hours. Then we continued walking down and sniggering at those who were huffing and puffing their way up, changed then went to makan.

Thx to Faiz@Bact for letting me tumpang his car and also offering to send me all the way home to damansara even tho he stays in Ampang. But i took the lrt back home coz my house is out of the way for him. Thx to krlanz for being so caring..hihihi! All in all it was such great fun!

:: Sugar - 2nd Feb ::

I havent been out clubbing cut down a lot compared to end of last year so on the 2nd it was my first time goin out clubbing for this year I managed to not club/drink for a month, hehe so proud of myself compared to clubbing at least twice a week in Nov/Dec. Pam, Aree, Jazzy, Aymen, Gladz and myself decided to go to Sugar on friday because we like DJ Fuzz spinning there. I met up with Along (from Kluang) who happened to be in town for the weekend who i havent met for almost half a year. We had lots of fun dancing and meeting new people.

:: Pammy’s 22nd Birthday ::

Pam’s birthday was on the 4th of Feb so we celebrated it at Al-Rawsha, Ampang (i must do a review on it on day) - a bungalow-converted-restaurant which serves superb Arabic food (try their Al-rawsha mixed grill and hummus) and shisha (i love the *special* grape) with a bunch of close friends. Had lots of fun laughing, talking, shisha-ing and eating.

After that we continued at Aloha for dancing and drinks. May the year ahead be a great one for you Pam!

Im not sure if u guys noticed that I’ve added a Twitter badge on the right side of my blog. Its a service where I can text in updates of what im doing, anytime, anywhere. Finally got it up and working today Enjoy reading!

I got about 6-7 drafts that are half written since i started my holidays. the pangsun trip one oso mcm tulis ala kadar only..too bloody lazy to actually write in detail. Am currently bizi goin out, clubbing every 2 days (at least), eating out quite often (coz frens “dragged” me to go out), and sleeping (what’s new la kan?).

Am currently working but feeling reli lazy on this workbook (buku kerja) for Primary 4 english literature students. Pay’s not that fantastic (and plus i will get it only after the book is published - which is like prolly late 2007) but its a rather interesting job coz I have to keep coming up with fun exercises. Have to send up my first part in 2 days and im only halfway thru it (im sooo screwed).

Like i mentioned earlier, been going lepaking a lot - meeting up with chatters mostly. The favourite hangout is McD Centerpoint, i think i go there at least once a week now. LOL! (bila la nak kurus nih?). Been lepaking at Lotus & Pelita in KL, shah alam, went kareoke-ing at plaza imbi, red box @ curve.

I noticed that i’ve been clubbing and drinking a lot more the past month or so. Especially with Pam, we are such bad influences for each other. LOL! Went to Sugar (at some hotel, i forgot which) to celebrate G’s 18th bday last mth, clubbed at Poppy Garden (opposite rum jungle) with pam’s arab frens, lepaked at Cynna bar, Ivy and Loft (Asian Heritage Row) with Nelson and gang, chilled out at a pub in Dsara with JD and cho tai di (which i kept losing and kept having to drink) and lepak in Planet Hollywood for ladies nite (monday and wednesday) just to have a glass of wine and borak2 while enjoying the live band - which is exactly what i did last monday with pam and nazri (and a digital camera).

Oh, this week im busy renewing my passport so have to go the immigration and what not. God i hate the system here. takes ages. I went yesterday and they ran out of numbers before lunch time so I had to go again this morning around 8am. FInally finished everything right before lunch and that was also coz i got all my forms approved the day before.

I’ll be away from the 17th - 21st dec because Im goin on holiday with my family to Vietnam (my dad has a meeting for 2 days there) so dont miss me too much yea? Change of plans, my dad’s meeting was cancelled due to the typhoon.
