Oh, im going to be in genting this weekend. Staying over one night to go to “A night with Jim Brickman” concert. Sooo cheap. only RM133 for rooms and Tier 2 tickets (valued at RM80 each). Im goin with aaron. whoopiee doo ![]()
I’ve been hit by the malas-to-update-my-blog syndrome the past few weeks. Its not that I dont have a life *jeling kat put* but I’ve been busy - but not as busy as org yg salah tgk date convo or mak hayam yg nak cuti awal.
Brian, a close fren of mine from KK (who’s currently studying in Singapore) came to KL for a weekend trip. He stayed with Aaron in KJ. These two monkeys said that they would be in BB-Lowyat area after 10am on saturday and so I was at KJ at 11am and decided to call them to say that I’d be there earlier than i expected - supposed to meet at 12.30pm at first.
Those two monkeys were still sleeping!! Or to be more accurate, i woke them up. So i asked them to get their butts down to KJ as soon as possible and they came in less than an hour later - groggy and tired. Coz they watched Pirates at 12.30 and only got back around 3 something am.
We were busy camwhoring in the monorail station and in the train. We went to Low yat and walked around window shopping while Brian was looking for a laptop bag. He finally bought a nice Belkin padded cushy one for RM95 (compared to me who will juz sumbat my laptop into any bag im currently using - if its too small, juz pegang mcm pegang files or books).
At around 2.30pm, Aaron left us to go for his interview and it started raining so we decided to go to Time Square because Brian hasn’t been there for some time. We had to walk in the rain to time square when Brian asked where Lot 10 was coz he wanted to go the the Bentley (sp?) store opposite. I was like “What?!?!? we walked thru the rain here and u want to go back??” So we did go back and he kept insisting there was an underground passage from Regent Hotel to the opposite road (Planet Hollywood side) - anyone know about this passage?? - but we crossed the road anyway coz we couldnt find this so-called passage of his.
After that I went to stay at my frens place. Lepak2 borak2 and slept a lot coz i didnt sleep the night before. The next day I met up with Brian and Aaron (again!) in Ikano and we jalan2 to Padini - waaaa…so many new heels at Vincci~! - and Aaron bought 2 new tshirts then we lepak2 at Starbucks Ikano and took lotsa pics again
Then the 2 monkeys came to my house for dinner and we juz talk talk, drink drink then they went home.

Oh and its the last week of my holidays. So have been lepaking a lot, and also trying to fix my messy sleeping times. So far so good, slept early last night and woke up around 9 something this morning. ![]()
[Time] 11.15am
[Date] 15 July 2006
[Venue] Golden Screen Cinemas, One Utama
After Miz Farah “Gedik” Bella tried all night to book tickets for us to watch POTC : DMC (which will from now on be called Pirates2) she managed to secure tickets at the ungodly hour of 11.15am on a Saturday morning.
Met up with Efir, Ally, Kanai and Farah at OU. I turned up at the perfect time, juz in time to walk up to the cinema - but we got stuck at the long line at the popcorn stand. Sorry guys, my bad.
The movie was great! A bit long at 2.5 hours but great! The effects was good, especially the disgusting looking barnacles on Davy Jones’ crew, esp during the day when u can actually see it opening and closing…MAJOR ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!! And of course that teethy Kraken and all its slimy disgusting stuff
So go and see this movie! In the cinema of course. Belilah yg ori! ![]()
And of course, what would an outing with the minah-minah gedik be without a spot of cam-whoring? (as usual click for a bigger size)
Iqbal Iggy, my fren from brunei came to KL for a media trip so Sids & Andre rang me up to ask if I wanted to go out with them to One Utama. They picked me up in the afternoon from my house. I was shocked to see that there was so many people in front. Iggy and Sids (driver) in the front. Then Andre and three of her other KDU frens were all sitting on each other lap at the back. So in total there was 7 of us squeezed into a Hyundai Getz. I can so imagine the looks of people who saw the car
I miss those Miri and KK days where we would squish everyone together.
We went for lunch at that No 8 place - where it sells japanese-style noodles. I wouldnt call it Ramen because it looks like normal maggi mee. I had something like mee kering with fried dumplings goyza.
After that we went to Lecka-lecka for some dessert - gelato. Andre had creme brulee - which tasted like honey - and baby blue - blue coloured sweetness. i didnt really taste it. Sids had something peachy. I had the berry dreams (i think). Its nice..not overwhelmingly sweet. Oh Iggy belanja. Thank you iggy *huggles*
After that we went to watch “Cars” at GSC. It really enjoyed the movie even tho the cinema was bloody cold. Worth watching it in the cinema. Even tho it might look a bit childish. I kno Erin someone actually cried out loud in the cinema at the touching part ![]()

I would be outstation to Seremban tomorrow (and maybe Penang on friday) for a translation job. Kinda nervous coz its the first time I have to do simultaneous translating - meaning that I have to directly translate spoken eng to BM. Would be back in the evenings (because its a day trip only)
Cant wait for tomorrow nite coz im goin to zouk with my gal pals ![]()

Pandan Chicken Rice, Rojak buah and yummylicious Iced Tea
One day Pammye and I were deciding where to go for lunch. Then she thought of Rafflesia Chicken Hut in The Mall near PWTC. RCH is really popular in KK, Sabah. The two popular dishes are its Pandan Chicken Rice and Rojak Buah - which has this keropok thingy that I really like ![]()
Tried out the Iced Tea which tastes almost like the ‘zhen chu nai cha’ - pearl milky tea - minus the “pearls”. Its tea with milk and whipped cream on top. Really yummylicious! RCH at the mall isnt all that nice looking compared to the branches in KK. And it looked rather cramped at the end. But still, we managed to fulfill our RCH cravings.
After eating we headed on to Bangsar to do some eyebrow threading. Pammy wanted to try it for the first time and Im too lazy to pluck my own eyebrows so I leave it to the pros
After that we were deciding where else to go and we settled for Amcorp Mall because I havent really walked around there. Except to the pool place upstairs and Starbucks - which is really the worst Starbucks I’ve tasted because they dont mix it right.
Went to see all the clothes butiques and all the other shops. Pam bought a really nice white bag for like less than RM50. After that we headed on to her house to pick up some things (because she’s staying over at my house tonite) and rested for a few hours.
