Got my hands on the new HTC HD7 if only for a few minutes to take a photo and play around with it.

A long time ago, I used the HTC Diamond for a couple of months from my old office which was running the old Windows mobile. Interface seems slick and I like the huge, crisp screen. The flicking between the screens are also very smooth.

Time will tell if it’s a good contender to the Android and iPhone. Microsoft, pass me a unit to review pls! :D

What did you guys do last weekend? A friend of mine invited me to follow him to look for a waterfall somewhere near Ulu Yam. “Kita pegi cari, then balik la” were his words. So I didn’t bring baju at first so we had to turn back. -_- Not to mention I forgot to set my alarm so I overslept. Sorry about that :P

Anyway, we expected a longer trip but it was a mere 70KM from my house. Its after Jalan Sungai Tua. Directions : “Once we reach the end of Jalan Sungai Tua, we turn right following the road sign.. Move straight for approximately another kilometer or so and we’re there.. Well the road was ok along the way, can say it was paved until the entrance of the falls entrance.. Unpaved for about 200m in the middle, but the road was ok“

At first the river didn’t look very impressive but after we walked up higher, there was a waterfall and a quite nice pool where it was a bit deeper. The water was very cold and nice. We ended up staying for a few hours. Looks like a good place to BBQ and lepak ramai2. Will plan one soon

P1 has been the forefront of providing wireless internet access in Malaysia. They first came out with a wireless modem for the desktop – a (roughly) 5x5x2 inch black modem.

Noami from P1 (packet One) kindly invited a few bloggers for a preview of the new ‘Wiggy’ USB Modem – two days ahead of the official (invite only) media launch tomorrow (Thursday, 9 Apr) at Upstairs, The Loft.

It started around 8.10pm with firstly a short speech by the CEO of P1 W1Max, Mr Michael Lai, who said “if you have problems, don’t hesitate to whack us”. LOL! Then by the tech guy – sorry I forgot your name – who explained briefly about how they started and what they finally came up with.

So they showed us their USB Modem. Its a small (roughly) 2 inches by 4 inches modem with a “flip” USB that you can plug straight into your laptop. What I really like is no wires and the fact that the USB part is adjustable/moveable.

How’s the speed? Well, to tell you the truth, I don’t know. For some reason, I can’t connect (and a few others have the same problem) so I will have to call Naomi tomorrow and ask.

Price? We were not told the price. But it will be reveals soon after the launch :)

*Special* I overheard some people talking, and if I’m not mistaken, there will be a special promotion during the PC Fair so do make your way there to get the USB Modem :D

Edit [9 Apr] : Noami emailed everyone saying that we have to go back to P1 and change our Modems. I really applaud P1 W1Max for putting an importance on bloggers and forumers – even before official media coz I think its a brilliant way for promoting a product. But the fact that it doesn’t work is also kind of disappointing.

The big day is here! After a few calls and sms-es to make sure that I really am graduating and after one day of rehearsals, its finally D-Day. This post will be picture heavy.

After a night of clubbing with my new found friends at Laundry Bar & Mystique (and had way too much to drink), it was hard to get up to go to campus at 11am. Had to register then go and lepak with my classmates – some were taking photos and all that.

Then at 12.30pm we had to all adjourn to the holding area to arrange everybody based on their course. There were so many graduates from all sorts of different Diplomas and Degrees. I can’t remember the exact numbers but its defiantly more than 200 students.

At 2pm, the guests and parents started arriving (some bearing flowers). After almost two hours of arranging and screaming from the coordinators to line up everyone, we finally entered the hall at 3pm sharp. Standing tall and proud. Entering two rows at a time.

After an opening song and only one speech by Tan Sri Lim Kok Wing, the ceremony started. The diploma students did’ not have to use the mortar board (that’s the hat with the tassel). Different faculties have different coloured tassels. Yellow is for the IT faculty.

After all the diploma, degree and awards giving, there was two more songs. The best part about this graduation ceremony is that its very formal and yet informal. We could clap and laugh and dance around during the songs. Especially the last upbeat song (can’t remember the title) where some people standing on the chair and jumping.

Then we had to arrange ourselves again for the final big group picture. Surprisingly it was a fast affair, all of the graduates were arranged nicely in less than 15 minutes. Supposedly the picture will come out sometime this week in the papers but I haven’t seen it yet :(

And after that it was time to enjoy and celebrate. We snapped pics here and there – with friends, with lecturers, with parents. Before I finally headed back at 5.30pm.

Congrats guys! We made it. Thanks to my parents (most of all), all my lecturers (even the lansi face ones) and my friends. Thanks to Pam and Fariz who took time to text me during the ceremony :P Thanks to everyone on YM/MSN/my blog who congratulated me.

We woke up so early on the morning of the wedding. Started to get ready around 5.30am. Jofanna and George from Jofanna Bridal was early to do the hair/makeup (and photos). Then soon after Benny (BennyLiew.com) came to take photos of the preparation.

I went for a late dinner (around 10pm) for some good Arab food in Al-rawsha restaurant with Bobby (he used to always comment on my blog before) – a friend who I’ve not met for some time. Mixed grill and bread. Yums! Their portions seemed bigger than previous, so we were both oh so stuffed. We had a good time catching up. Lain kali buat lagi ek?

Around 12.30am, on the way back, I texted Aree asking where she was and the girls were all hanging out in Laundry. So with my jeans, simple shirt and flats I headed down from Ampang to Laundry bar and illegally nicely parked my car at the hill before entering the entrance.

Apparently there was more then just the girls – there was Fariz (who was in KL for the weekend and going back to Johor on Sunday), Ayman, Jazzy, Sam (Ayman’s friend), Sindra, Elaine (Aree’s friend), Kaduk (Aree’s Sarawakian friend) and of course Pam (who just came back from a nasi lemak session) and Aree.

A bottle of Smirnoff Red vodka and some RedBull was half finished and waiting for me. After polishing that one at around 2.30am and we continued upstairs at Sanctuary with another bottle of Smirnoff Red. At this point Aree, Pam & Jazzy left to Aree’s place. At 3am the club closed and we were kindly asked to drink outside. LOL! So we ended up drinking outside in the dark with a bucket of ice and two bottles of mixers and chit chatting.

At 4am we were asked to leave. LOL! With 1/4 bottle of Smirnoff Red left, we decided to go to Ayman’s hse to continue drinking after picking up a bottle of Absolut Pear from my hse and Coke from 7E. So yea, basically we spent the whole nite drinking. Fariz, Elaine and Sindra went back earlier but Kaduk and I slept over at Ayman’s coz I promised to send Kaduk back to Mt Kiara the next day. Finally left in the afternoon.

I finally quit my moping around at home and went out on Wednesday. First was tea with a guy friend with whom I’ve been postponing meeting coz of time constraints. Then I met up with Pam, Aree, Jazzy, Ayman & Taufan at Empress Cafe, Curve. I had a bottle of shisha. Wee~ shisha makes me happy :P Then lepaked and chit-chatted with Pam and her friends at Idaman till around 2am plus.

On Thursday we woke up and Aree came over and we had lunch at this nice place in KJ that serves N9 food. Sedap (no pics tho coz we were starving and instantly attacked the food). Then we went over to Bangsar for a pampering session – threading my eyebrows which looked totally bushy and wild and also cutting my hair at PeekABoo which is getting way too long and heavy. Didn’t do much to it, just trimmed it 2 inches and layered it. But I love this new hairstyle, lighter and easier to maintain i think.

That night we painted the town red by deciding to club in Ghetto Heaven @ Zouk. Met up with Jazzy and Ayman there. Taufan also stopped by for a bit. It was just us girls (and Ayman) and it was fun. Not to mention that girls get 2 drinks free and pam gave me hers so I was downing 3 tequila shots on top of 1 jug of Long Island Tea and some Vodka lime.

Went home kinda early, chit chat and had a smoke of the good stuff (lol!) before drifting off into dreamless sleep. Two solid days with the girls has really rejuvenated my spirits. I love you babes >:D<

Sorry for the lack of updates people, but I have about a week or so to complete all my projects for my final. So the blog (and my social life) would have to be put aside for a bit. Not to mention that I’m having my period (which makes me feel like I want to sleep all day) and killer cramps. So yea, frends, dont take it the wrong way when I dont respond or can’t join you guys going out. I will be back in roughly 2 weeks. I will cari u guys then. Promise!

This is going to be a kind of photoblog coz I’m a bit lazy to type. LOL!

Anyway, he suddenly told me that he had leave on Thursday so then we kinda made a last minute decision to go up to Genting. Problem is, we had to leave rather late and I wasn’t sure of the way. Took a really long and dark road going there. I probably took the wrong exit coz I took the Rawang/Btg Berjuntai exit at NKVE. Oh well, important thing is that we sampai rite? Though we reached kinda late :D

Saw some chinese chicks with long stokin belang belang. Thank goodness not those types yg stokin sebelah ada, seblah takda :P He was so fascinated seeing a very FAT Twisties, Cheezels and Milo Nuggets (I really like milo nuggets! and Im so glad they still sell it. But doesn’t taste as nice as before).

That’s supposed to be a picture of me climbing some ladder at the side of a hill. But too blurry – perhaps the photographer was too cold. It was like taken at 2.44am and the air was freezing cold so perhaps that’s why the pic came out blurry :P

A pic of a man-made waterfall. Look so peaceful but it was actually so hot. The sun was out but luckily the air was cool tho. Ohh, i found out that he’s scared of heights. LOL! Then I dragged him on most of the rides. Hehe! Poor baby was feeling like vomiting after the ride. Hehehe :P

Anyway, came back quite early because we were tired and its a rather long drive back so we hung out in Curve for a bit then went home :D
