Curi-ed from afdlin’s blog

Went to watch ACTORLYMPICS on Friday nite with Erin and Nick D at Actor’s Studio, Bangsar. Bumped into Pinkpau in the lift. We always end up goin on the same night to actorlypmpics :P hehe!

It was good and really funny. I laughed so hard. Lots of cute guy volunteers were called up. Not as nice as the last time i went tho. Noticed that there were more RTMs there.

Sat nite went out mamaking wif frens. Had lunch on Sunday at Hartamas. Went to makan at this place where they served halal dim sum. Was a bit pricy. But soo sedap. The name of the shop is Dim Sum, near some kopitiam place.

Din go to class today coz i had bad stomach ache. Am home alone since sunday coz my family is staying over at Sunway Hotel - my dad has a room there

Pygmalion @ KLPAC

I went to watch Pygmalion last nite with Eawin, Nick but im doubt he’s going to blog about it..so no similar topic of posts and Farhan. Laila couldnt make it coz it was raining cats and dogs :(

It was at KLPAC (KL Performing Arts Center) or Pentas Seni KL (tak stim tul the malay name) somewhere in Sentul West (?? im bad at directions). Tix were RM30 (actually RM60, but 50% discount for students) - perks of being a students.

The musical was good, peppered with loads of songs - none repeating too many times - in a medley of English, Malay, Manglish and Cantonese. Its setting is in a typical upper-class English society - costumes were fantastic (and lots of peeping clevage…hehe!) and the vocals were really good.

For details on the musical Pygmalion, check out KLPAC’s website here.

.: Review :. The Terminal

So I juz finished watched The Terminal today on DVD…borrowed from erin {thanks gurl!}

Viktor (Tom Hanks) is stuck in the terminal of an airport because he has problems with his visa. There he meets an airstewardess (Catherine Zeta-Jones) and starts to have feelings for her. Without any knowledge of english, or any money, he has to survive and live in the airport.

Coming from Steven Spielberg with great actors & actresses, this movie does not dissapoint. I find this movie inspiring, touching, funny and interesting with a hint of romance (trust any movie NOT to have a kissing scene)

So yeah, for those who havent watched it, please go..its worth it :)

I actually finished reading this book a week ago but forgot to write a short review of it. One warning before reading tho…..please keep in mind that Dan Browns book is FICTION and presents ideas that goes against the Christian belief. Meaning from a Christian point of view, this book is utterly, absolutly wrong and blasphemic.

However, that said, this book is hard to put down. You’ll want to continue reading as every page brings a new turn of events. It’s 575 pages - roughly2.5 inches thick - but i got so engrossed in it that I read it in roughly 2days..seriously. I devour books like I drink water….hehehe

Brief sypnosis : This prof Robert Langdon wuz called to help in a murder investigation. Then he teamed up with a French cryptologist (something about figuring out codes, symbols and stuff), Sophie Neveu. Together they have to solve the crime - who, why, what - as soon as possible before things get worse
