Going on a holiday?

I’ve got a few travel plans set up for next year. First is Phuket, Thailand from late January till early February. We’re even thinking of extending our trip, from 4 days to a week or so. Four days isn’t enough to party and enjoy our holidays away. Then I’m going to Kota Kinabalu, Sabah in July 2008.

Its a good thing I don’t have pets. I think it’s kind of inconvenient to bring around a pet while traveling. First we have to think about all the permits and licenses for bringing the animal into the plane. Then about the hotel’s policy and getting around. I guess the only thing to do would be to look for Pet Friendly Hotels.

Oh well, lucky I don’t have a pet.

Cars Galore

I would love to change my car. Yea yea! I know I just got it 2 months ago (and crashed it 1 week ago). But imagine how nice it would be to get the car of your choice without having to pay a through the nose for it.

I guess the best thing to do is to either get a loan or buy a second hand car. Some people might think that second hand goods are lousy but I think that some used cars are a good way to get the car that you’ve dreamed off at an affordable price.

Different people like different types of cars. Personally I like sport cars, the ones with a sleek design and a hot colour like sizzling red. Pam like big cars like a Mercedes M Class. Perhaps she can look for a used Mercedes Benz in NetCars.co.uk

This website provides links to everything you need to know before buying a new or used car. I really like the feature where you can even search for cars by the make such as BMW, Audi, Alfa Romeo and used vauxhall cars.

Maybe I should just sell my car and get a new one eh?

Birthday Prezzies

When November comes around, I’m always stumped on what to buy for my sisters birthdays. So instead of playing the guessing game wondering and hoping that the present I bought will be liked by them, I like to ask instantly what they want.

green bagThis year my youngest sister wants a bag. Geez! Do you have any idea how many different types of bags there are? Handbags, clutches, sling bags, graphic bag, tote bags, document bags, and the list goes on and on and on. Not only that, they also range anyway from RM10 to RM200++ for branded bags.
Lucky for me, i stumbled on SaveBuckets.co.uk. All you have to do is type in the product you want and it lists down the prices so that you can compare which one has the best value. After searching for “bags” I found this nice bag (on the left) that would be so adorable for her. It has many pockets for all her stuff and also a earphone outlet for her mp3 player. Plus, maybe I can borrow it to put all my books and laptop. Hehe!

Speaking of mp3 players, my other sister lost her mp3 player the other day and was pretty sad about it. Perhaps it would be nice to give her one for her birthday this year - if I have the money that is.

Holidaying in Europe

I just love travelling, one of the places that I would love to go to is Europe. My parents have been to Paris and London and they absolutely loved it there. Im sure it’ll be such fun! I particularly want to visit Paris, London, Berlin & Barcelona - because each have its special qualities that make Europe so unique.

I think that driving there would be better than having a tour because then you can have the fun of enjoying a road trip - but of course we must be prepared with a good map and a well-planned route. Plus, you can plan which sites you want to visit and for how long without being tied down to a tour schedule.

a square in barcelona
The picture above is a square in Barcelona, Spain. Look how quaint and laid back it is. I would love to have a hotel in Barcelona overlooking a square like that, where you can see people walking by or drinking coffee under umbrellas in outdoor cafes. Ahh…so relaxing.

berlin

This is Brandenburger Gate which was one of the main city gates in Berlin, Germany. The architecture is superb and to think that it stood tall since 1791. It took three years to build. Can you imagine? Imagine staying in one of the hotels in Berlin and waking up to splendid view of the Brandenburger Tor (gate in German) with the soft morning light behind it. Majestic!

london
“Will you let me romanticize,
The beauty in our London Skies”

Lyrics from Jamie Cullum’s “London Skies” speaks of the sunlight beneath the clouds looming over London. Though it might seem grey, its the perfect kind of weather to walk around the city because its not too hot and not too cold. I would love to stay in one of the hotels in London right in the middle of all the tourist attractions and walk or hitch a ride on the bus to visit those sites.

eiffel tower

Ahh…Paris, the City of love. Im sooo inspired to visiting this city with a loved one after watching Paris je t’aime. Everything there is just so romantic. Imagine staying in the honeymoon suite in one of the best hotels in Paris and standing at the balcony, watching the sun go down and the lights begin to brighten while drinking a glass of champagne with your loved one. Awwwwww…….

Visiting all these places might just be a dream now, but i vow to myself that I will go one day :D

Cheap Hosting

Friday

I was reading a friend’s blog who was writing about a sudden increase of projects for website designers and freelancers. Suddenly everyone realizes the potential of having their corporate website. These types of websites can range from simple informational websites to online stores to complex portals.

For some, it might be confusing to think about domain names and cheap small business hosting. How to design their site, whats the best colours to use, the best layout and how to present the information in the best and effective way possible.

For some, it might be confusing to think about domain names and cheap small business hosting. How to design their site, whats the best colours to use, the best layout and how to present the information in the best and effective way possible. Then there’s the added headache about buying and selling products - whats the best method? Credit cards? Paypal?

Companies both big and small are looking for ecommerce hosting which is using linux hosting or cpanel hosting can get it from AQHost. AQHost provides clients with site design, shopping cards and SSL Certifications. They can also set up a Merchant account for companies who want to sell their products for processing Credit Cards.

And best of all, it cheap!

MyFitnessPal

I love food, I’ll easily admit that. But of course too much food is not good for the body. Lately everyone - looks pointedly at angah – has a craze to be thinner. I guess one good way of slimming down is to monitor your calorie intake, watch your food, take a healthy diet and exercise.

MyFitnessPal is here to help. It’s a free – with emphasis on FREE – diet and fitness website which gives you advice on how to make better food choices and track your eating with a diet journal so that you can effectively monitor your eating choices and the calories in food that you take. Did you know, for example, that McD’s chicken nuggets (6 pieces) has 250 calories and 15g fat? (G, take note!)

Not only does it provide a calorie chart, it also has a food database, a message board to get support from other weight watchers and also is flexible enough for you to use with any type of diet you want – be it Atkins, South Beach or Low-Carb.

So over there to register and use their services and calorie counter for free.
