Remember those cute little rubber stamps? When I was younger I loved this so much! I insisted that my parents bought me this everytime we went to the kedai runcit (sundry shop). Its twelve square and cyclindrical sticks with various types of expressions and designs with a stamp at the end of the stick. It also comes with a small rectangle of notepad and an even smaller square of ink pad. I think I drove my parents crazying trying to mark every single paper with those stamps. Luckily for some reason I didn’t stamp our whole walls. Haha! Its hard to resist white walls and stamp in brightly colored smileys in red, yellow or green.

Then there was those times that I paid a visit to my dad’s office and he had all those rubber stamps with “Urgent”, “Paid”, “Priority”, “Approved”, “From the desk of.” all in different-different colours. Ah, those were the days. Now you can order your own pre-designed Rubber Stamps. I would be the first to admit that I don’t know anything about cars or motocycles or any other vehicle for that matter. Anything with an engine and wheels eludes me. All I know is how to drive my car, fill it with petrol and change tyres (well, at least I know how to change the tyres by myself!).

When I was in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, I met up with Taufan. He drove one of his father’s car and he had this cool device on it. I think its like a Car DVD Player that can play music and has an in-built GPS I think (because I think saw the GPS device thingy). The best part is, when reversing, it shows a feed of the back view so that you don’t accidently hit anything or anyone. When I saw it, i told Taufan, “OMG! I need that for my car.”

Even though I know nothing about cars, I do want to change my CD player in the car because currently it plays only audio CDs and I want it to play MP3 CDs. Oh, I just checked and apparently its called a In-Dash Car Receiver. LOL! Told you I’m a noob.

Hurm, I don’t have an Emergency Road Kit in my car. Well I do have one plastic bag with tampons/pads in case of an emergency but I don’t have a first aid kit in the car. Should I get one? I do have a flashlight tho. Hurm..

Every girl should have a wraparound dress in their cupboard. I just picked up mine from the tailors the other day (well Gladys picked it up for me from Kota Kemuning). Its really hard to find plus size dresses even though I already tried looking in many shops in Kuala Lumpur so I usually tailor mine. Pictures as promised

Somehow I couldn’t get a nice shot but rest assured its really really nice Costs about RM80 for the workmanship, which i find rather reasonable considering I asked her to finish it fast. The materials not sure coz mom bought it. I did it in Kota Kemuning, Selangor.

Gladys and I went to KLUE Urbanscapes for a bit on Saturday at KLPAC, Sentul West around 4pm - mainly to go see what they were selling in the Marketplace, we’re big fans of these flea market kinda things. We couldn’t stay long anyway coz she had plans around 7pm.

For one thing, the parking was terrible. I had to pusing2 a few times before finding parking at this field which was bumpy. Another thing was the marketplace should have been planned out better - coz it was all stuffy and packed. And it was oh so HOT HOT HOT! Everyone was sweating buckets out there.

I bumped into the Persetankan (DFJJ) group (sorry tak ingat nama semua org - Jasmine, Bali, Ikmal, err..siapa lg?) who were sitting relaxing at the side of KLPAC, Su Ann happily shopping with her bf, Carmen and noticed a few bloggers (whom I’m not close to). Omar dtg lambat, kalo tak leh jumpa. Nik Ryu, Ariff and gang were inside but it was rather packed so I decided against going inside (plus also didn’t have much time).

The Random Acts (facebook link) people were there too, doing their Rob thingy. This is where people were walking around looking for someone - screaming out his name, tapping random ppl and asking them. Hehe! Caused a lot of puzzled looks. Funny!

Besides all the goodies for sale - there were bags, and clothes, and wallets and handmade stuff and bangles, accessories, necklaces, hats, bikinis - there was also baked goodies - I spotted Wondermilk with their cupcakes - and a booth of drinks. They even had beer! (tho it was RM12/can)

There was also an outdoor acoustic stage by the lake. That was really nice

Honestly, I didn’t quite enjoy myself there. Perhaps it was the rather cramped space and the heat (I can’t stand heat). Perhaps it was also some people who were there just for the sake of being there and looking cool. “Pretentious” said G. Perhaps I’m just not ‘hip’ enough for this kinda crowd. LOL!

Anyway, it was a really great effort by KLUE - first arts fest of it’s kind I think. Perhaps next time it could be done in a bigger venue?

Its weird you know. Ask any of my friends like Pam or Aree and ask them how I am when we go out shopping. I’m usually the one who tags along, gives comments and only once in a while do I buy something - and that is quite seldom.

However, online shopping hit me like a mind blowing orgasm. LOL! Its so hard to stop myself from transferring over money for this or that item. Sprees are the worst!

Sprees are when people all gather their orders and order stuff from international websites like Bath and Body Works, Victoria Secret, Sephora, Amazon, etc then save on shipping costs. Its usually organized by two people - one in US and one over here. So the websites ships the items to person in US who then ships it to someone here who then distributes it to everyone else.

So yea anyway, I got the two packages I was waiting for. Yey! I mentioned it a few posts back coz I have to wait a month for the stuff to get here.

Someone said that its been a while since I wrote a proper post. Sorry! Been so busy lah Main been catching up with all my pending assignments. Have 3 projects this final sem *die!*. One of my assignments requires a short animation in 3d and this is my character, a lego man/robot. Thats a rendering of my character. I had to add knees to my lego man to allow for better movement later when I animate it. This class is really so much fun! We did bones last week and this week we’re doing skinning. Its all done in 3ds max 6. I actually have 3dsmax 9 but the lab uses 6 so better use 6 lor.

Okay, nuff about school work. I went to the PayLessBooks Warehouse sale last Sunday. It was sooo cheap! Fiction books for RM12 for 5 books and science fiction books buy 1 free 1, even for hard covers. The bf was so excited to see a StarWars hard cover book for only RM18 and a Dick Tracy book. He ended up buying 4-5 books. I ended up buying 8 books- 5 fiction (RM12), 2 science fiction (RM8) and Pulitzer (sp?) Winner book titled "Angela’s Ashes" (RM5). Cheap eh? Oh, we also bought this bookabout personalities of guys based on their horoscopes. Really interesting read.

Hurm, what else? Oh yes, I’m currently very addicted with online shopping. This month alone I spent a lot on online shopping. Which explains why Im kinda broke now.  I mostly buy stuff from overseas that I can’t get here. This is all from LYN forumers who conduct sprees so that the shipping costs will be cheaper. This is what I’ve bought as of now:

At least its way cheaper to pay via paypal then to withdraw it out in RM (this is to pacify myself for spending alot). Haha!
