Thursdays nights are Ghetto Heaven nights at Zouk KL. And also ladies night. Meaning to say there are no entrance fee for ladies and they play R&B songs all night.

On Thurs, i slept over at a few friends’ place coz we planned to go to Zouk. Went there in the afternoon and lepak lepak around. Den around 9 sumthing we got ready (supposed to leave at 10.30pm). Sempat curl my hair. LOL! Took a taxi thr and reached just before midnite eventually (we left late) and went it.

My first impression is that it’s smoky. I mean I kno clubs are full of smoke but this was kinda overdosed. I walked in and i was hit by a cloud of smoke & my eyes started watering…but after a while i adjusted and all was fine. Then i realized that it was SO packed {but i’ve been in worst clubs - kenot even walk around at that point} and no space to sit around.

Music was good, lotsa ppl…but not enough guys…ehhe…so tak sempat bercuci mata dat nite Hehe! Nvm la…..

Oh yeah….alcohol in KL is expensive!! Drank 1 cup of chivas (wif juz ice)…..RM21.50!!…..in Miri only RM13-16 {if im not mistaken - correct or not Littak?}. Hmm…..cant afford to drink here i guess, unless some ppl buys me drinks. LOL!

Oh yeah 2 guys bought a fren & I Johnnie walker+coke (they open 2 bottles owedi). She didnt drink, so i took both den we thanked them and went off. They’re too old la….d*mn! prolly juz slightly younger than my father. So we cabut away from em fast fast. LOL!!

So we berabis dance till like 3 am…wuah so tiring. {Lola: bena cakap ko, lepas lama dah cuti, sik larat gik mok tahan lama-lama} …..yeahla wat to do kan? Den while we were hanging outside waitin for a taxi, we met some guys from Sunway and talk talk abit lorr….

One of our frens was so talkative in the taxi, commenting that the taxi driver is very young la, ask his age (he’s 29) den she gave him a mini motivational talk, saying he got so much potential and why is he driving taxis when he has a whole bright future…blah blah….poor taxi driver. LOL!

Got back at around 4 am, only slept around 6-7 am. Woke up at 10 am coz i was supposed to go back at noon. So tired!!

I downloaded the movie The Forgotten from Suprnova using bittorrent. Took me about 2 days coz i couldnt leave my pc on 24/7. Anyway, it’s coming out today in Malaysian cinemas but I watched it a week ago. Ahh..the wonders of the internet. LOL!! So here’s a short review.

In this sci-fi thriller, Julianne Moore plays Telly Paretta, a distraught woman who could not believe that her nine year old son, Sam had died in a plane crash 14 months ago. Telly Paretta could not accept the explanation given by her husband Jim (Anthony Edwards) and her psychiatrist, Dr. Munce (Gary Sinise) that her son did not exist. Their plain, simple answer was that she suffered a miscarriage and she had been delusional since then and had been fabricating memories of her imaginary son. They explained that she was suffering from amenesia brought on by post-traumatic stress.

Unsatisfied with the explanation, Telly Paretta began looking for evidence of Sam’s existence. She searched for photos, videos and scrapbooks. However much to her astonishment, everything had vanished. She was going mad and hysterical until she met Ash Correll (Dominic West), a retired hockey player who lost his daughter, Lauren in the same plane crash.

However, Ash did not remember his daughter and she had to make him remember. To add to their confusion, some people are after them even though they have no idea why.

So are they 2 mad lunatics or did they really have a son and a daughter?

My Review
I found this movie interesting with its twists and turns. Julienne Moore portrays the emotion & love between mother & child very well. A little bit boring at times. Suspenceful (sp?) at certain parts but I really found the ending lame. And, to me, a lame ending pulls the whole rating of the show down.

My verdict: Pretty ok movie…mayb give it a 5.5 out of 10. Should be interesting for sci-fi buffs tho

Yes, the boys who brought us that infamous song and others such as “welcome to my Life” & “Addicted”, has finally reached our Malaysian shores. Performing in an exclusive gig (invites only) in Zouk KL, on the 27th (i think) sponsored by Motorola for the launching of their new hp model. (I think)

Well, im actually not a really big fan of Simple Plan, but their songs are nice. But ask me to name them one by one and I go blur. In fact, looking at the pic above, im not sure which is actually d lead singer (im assuming the one in front. LOL)

Anyways, Im part of their Malaysian street team tho - Simple Plan Underground - haha….well, juz joined for fun. A street team is like a group of fans who help promote their music. I’ve heard that ones in the US or UK get exclusive stuff like posters and CDs and stuff so Im hoping

SP is having a Meet The Fans session at Tower Records, KLCC this Sunday, 21st November 2004 at 3pm and get to meet them first, exclusively for SPU members. And I even have their full flight details.

Im not that big a fan to go all the way to KLIA. So…should i go see them at KLCC? Hmm…..
