The Golden Compass

There’s this new movie coming out titled The Golden Compass which is an exciting fantasy adventure, set in a parallel world where people’s souls manifest themselves as small animalas, taking bears fight wars, and children are mysteriously dissapearing. At the centerof the story is 12 yr old Lyra who sets out tofind and rescue her best friend Roger and ends up on an extraordinary quest to save not only her own world, but ours as well.This movie stars Nicole Kidman, Daniel Craig and newcomer Dakota Blue Richards as Lyra and is based on a Trilogy called His Dark Materials by Phillip Pullman. The Golden Compass (also known as “Northern Lights” in UK and Europe) is the first book.ON their website you can answer a few questions to determine what is your Deamon (no, not demon).
