More Hamster Happiness

Been spending a small fortune on the hamster. He said, "Hamsters in damansara are so lucky." Lol! Got it a new cage because the current one is rusty and a bit too small for a Syrian. So I got a huge tank for Breadcrumb.

Its a 2liter plastic fish tank – which was a lot thicker than i expected. Drilled a hole at the side and added a water bottle to the outside (using a suction cup). The ceramic heart shaped ashtray was a found in a box under my cupboard (which was never used to put ashes) and now it becomes the food bowl. The house is recycled from the previous case. Bought a blue Wodent Wheel which is supposed to be the best wheel for small animals.

I wouldn’t really agree with the low cost part but its a good thing that it’ll last for years and its really easy to take apart and clean, which is the best part for me :P

I also got myself some new bedding. Its Breeder’s Select Cat litter. Yea, CAT litter. Its recycled paper that is processed into pellets and absorbed well (which means less smell i presume). Its recommended by lots of ppl in the Hamster forum in LYN so I tot to give it a try. I mixed it with the existing wood shavings to test it out.

The whole thing (cage + bedding) set me back about 100 + 30 from him. I got it from Pet Shack in Sunway Mentari. Oh well, at least my hamster is healthy and happy. Breadcrumb looks like its getting bigger as well. Yey!
