    ‘Talentime’ back in cinemas

    11 Aug – Primeworks Studios and a group of cinema operators are coming together to honour the memory of the late film director Yasmin Ahmad by organising a re-screening of her latest movie "Talentime" on 13 August 2009 onwards, for a limited time only. The screening will be held across various cinemas nationwide and the organisers have pledged to donate RM1 to an undisclosed charity organisation for every movie ticket sold.     I personally really like reading graphic novels. And the Hollywood trend now is to create movies based on graphic novels or games. Some have succeeded (like 300) but others have disappointed.     Thanks to Fly FM’s Night Flight, I won four free tickets to watch Speed Racer at GSC, One Utama just now. So I brought along Aree, Pam and Jazzy (but Jazzy couldn’t make it and the bf is sick).
