[ August 15, 2007 @ 17:54]
Im goin to go watch this movie tonight…..wait for the review soon!

Synopsis: When investigative reporter Rowena Price learns that her friend’s murder may be connected to powerful ad executive Harrison Hill, she goes undercover with the help of her associate, Miles Hailey. Posing as Katherine, a temp at Hill’s agency, and Veronica, a girl Hill flirts with online, Rowena surrounds her prey from all sides, only to discover that she isn’t the only one changing identities. The closer we get to learning the truth, the more we understand how far people will go to protect it. Opens in Malaysia on 23 August 2007.

I got free tickets (again!) to the screening of this movie last nite at 9.30pm in Cineleisure. Thanks again to Cass. Pam and I had dinner at Burger King – which the service sucked but we got a free medium onion rings to make up for it – then proceeded to watch the movie.

I went watching this movie with low expectations due to the rather low rating it got at Yahoo! Movies with only a D+ from critics and C+ from the users. Plus its Halle Berry and sometimes her movies tend to be rather boring.

So the story centers around Halle Berry’s character – Rowena Price – one of the top editors in a newspaper (writing under a pseudonym) who often goes undercover to uncover controversial stories. One of her friend dies after having an affair with Harisson Hill. So she uses her sex appeal to get closer to Hill. Sounds like the story is predictable eh? It’s not.

As the story progresses, we see that each of the characters have a dirty secret – Hill has affairs behind his wife’s back (what’s new?), Hill’s right hand (wo)man is a lesbian – and people are not what we expect.
